CHAPTER 40 “You look amazing,” Susie exclaimed when she and Olivia met for lunch at the club. “How are you feeling? Are you sleeping?” “Much better, thanks. I’ll be glad when Sebastian stops clucking around me. And I never did need that much sleep,” she laughed. “And how’s Sebastian coping with Alexander?” Susie asked. “Like a bloody duck to water.” Olivia rolled her eyes. “He’s a natural. I’m the one who’s flailing around and feeling like a novice.” “Well, he has done it before,” Susie smiled. “And I bet you’re doing just fine. You’re so good with Rosie.” “She’s my goddaughter so I don’t have a choice,” Olivia joked. “I must say it’s nice to get away for a couple of hours. I don’t feel like we’ve had a proper catch-up in ages.” “I know. We’re here now, so let’s make the most of it.
