“I should fire your arse,” JJ yelled at Emily as she stood in front of his desk in Caleris Global’s London office.
Emily went pale. “Please JJ, don’t,” she begged. “I know I screwed up but I’ll find a way to sort it out. I’ll find another property better than The Riverside.”
“Wyatt wants The Riverside. His heart is set on it and he’s a man who always gets what he wants. I suggest you get down there and talk to Old man Hampton, and throw money at him. Whatever it takes.” JJ was furious.
“Mr Hampton isn’t interested in money. If he were I wouldn’t be standing here now.” Emily was exasperated. She had worked so hard to bring The Riverside to the table and she alone was responsible for messing things up.
