“Are you f*****g kidding me?” Wyatt screamed down the phone. Bobby had just given him the verdict and he was furious. “How the hell did you let this happen?”
“They only presented the document two days before the case and we didn’t have enough time to counter it,” Bobby replied. “Where does this leave us?”
“In the s**t,” Wyatt growled. “I’m gonna have to call a board meeting to explain myself and you need to get your ass back here to do the same. I don’t give a s**t what they say. This is my company and we’re keeping The Riverside. I’ll run the place into the ground if I have to.”
“You’re being irrational,” Bobby snapped. “Let’s just dump it and move on. Sometimes a deal goes bad, that’s life.”
