As Sebastian had predicted, Camilla had been difficult from the moment she arrived in Appleton Vale. She was enraged at being dragged away from her beloved Mission and her hatred for Sebastian was as clear as day.
“What did you do for her to hate you so much?” Olivia asked after the initial meeting with Camilla at Edward’s house, where Sebastian had gone with Georgiana to discuss the funeral arrangements.
“I was close to her brother and when he died she blamed me for encouraging him to join up,” Sebastian replied. “She never forgave me when he didn’t come back from Iraq, and then she went to Africa.”
