“Are you ready for this?” Ethan asked while massaging my shoulders. I’ve been warming up for the last hour. I have a big Gymnastic competition today. The prize will help us pay the rent for this month. We do everything in cash in order not to leave a paper trail and we don’t operate in the same town that we live in. I also don’t use magic where we live. I’m afraid that Drake will find a way to track me. I’ve been blocking the ring so that he can’t access my every thought and move. Everytime I see the ring on my finger I get flooded by rage. I still can’t believe he did this to me. Even with Ethan being alive I was willing to stay with Drake. I’d do anything to protect the people I love. He just tricked me, he betrayed me and now he has to pay for it.
