What happened to Jessica? She asked hoping it wasn't written all over her face that she was angry to see him with another lady

Oh really, why did you break up? She asked feeling happy and felt betrayed by her body who was getting mooched by this man right in front of her

"She thought we were involved and doesn't really trust me with you". He replied with a shrug

"But you should have tried to explain things to her". She said trying to rid herself of her selfish interest

although it's hard for her knowing just how much she's into Nick but she wouldn't in any way want their friendship to get ruined just because of a relationship that might eventually not work out so she muster up courage and pretended she never had any feelings for him.
