Chapter Seventeen

(Unknown POV)

“What must I do to bring their pathetic species to its end! Multiple lives I have been stopped, by multiple champions… There is always the one that unites them all and makes the ultimate sacrifice for the supernatural world” … This mysterious figure is exceptionally well dressed and holds a glass of scotch in one hand, in the other, a picture of Lilith from her eighteenth birthday party. His eyes linger a on her face before he tosses it into his fireplace. The mysterious man takes a drink of his scotch and summons in his right-hand man.

I know they failed; I know she recruited the rogues he says as he grits his teeth. I know Alistair has been turned from a vampire into Lycan by the gods and goddesses for her to unlock her true power. Do not waste my time with news I have not already heard. The right-hand man who is well dressed in suit and unbuttoned button up with his jacket, lets out a smirk.

“Your future bride has been moved to the new house. Isthar is guarding and training their new pack members, however a coronation will be put into place for her to become Luna and Alistair Alpha of this new pack. Invitations have been sent out my lord, and I have one for you.”  He pulls out the invitation from his jacket, boldly walks up to the desk and slides it in front of the mysterious man. “Well done, Matthew. I was beginning to think it would be a shame to kill you. The man open the invitation and smiles, do you have the photos of her? “I do, here you go.” Thank you, Matthew, the money is in the suitcase by the door. “Boss, we have been working together for years now, what’s up with the obsession?”

The man looks up amused by the question. Well Matthew, its quite a long story, but to make it short she almost killed me once. He chuckles at the statement, took out my entire army with her last breath. The power she and I hold will create a new breed of supernatural beings. We will take this world back from the hands of men and once again they will fear us.

“Well, as long as I am getting paid, and you keep me out of the line of fire, I am all in on your plan.” They both smile and bid their farewells. The mysterious man takes the folder of pictures and conjures up what Lilith would have looked like in person if he were at her party. He watches her dancing and smiling before he ended it. I will have to make my best first impression if I am going to meet this new Lady Blackhart. Eli and Elliot, you may enter! Prepare a gift for the Lady and cast a dream upon her the night before her coronation with her and I alone to talk. Make sure it is my finest suit and get the jewelry set.

(Liliths POV)

Feeling Alistairs around me brought me so much comfort, I feel Gaia and Aether purring in unison as we hold each other. Cynthia is barking orders to the new staff as Bella does the same, Vincent has been moved inside to start putting furniture in place with his team. Isthar is going through the rogues, finding out their past crimes, determining punishment or an outcast/banishment. What skills they have and where they would be needed. Alistair and I have chosen Abraham to be our Beta and Bella our Female Beta, which I am so grateful for. Time to search for a Gama, and Vincent I have asked to be our Gama in the interim to help get the pack up running faster and stronger.

I begin my tour of the house knowing that everything is going smoothly outside. This pack house is bigger than my previous my home and the land goes on for miles with cottages. It’s white with gray, and so much greenery! It’s something you would see in TV show or movie. I make my way inside, and I see a majority of my things have been moved but it looks like my family has been planning this for a while. Most furnishings look brand new. There is four kitchens, four Rec rooms, a ballroom, a massive library, and conference room and a daycare. Not to mention the six more floors! Each floor has two offices one for the beta male and female, three bedrooms one for the guest betas, and guest bedroom. Sheesh, I knew my family had money, but I think this is too much.

I continue my walkthrough and discover that a floor is for the ranked pups that will be born into the pack. Once I reach the top floor and notice our offices, where we will be working and of course it is all set up. Alistair’s office has a nice gray hue with white office furniture and a picture of us and me on his desk. I giggle at how everything else turning out. I head into my office, and it has everything that has been passed down in my family from Lady to Lady. My office has a beautiful dark green wall with gold accents and white desk, and guest chairs. I too have picture of my us on my desk making my heart flutter. I walk into our bedroom, and it is exactly how I always envisioned it.

White walls with ceiling to floor length windows, two walk in closets, a bathroom that I could throw a party in. A foyer separates the bathroom and bedroom, and my grandmother’s vanity is there. It also has some benches and side for Alistair. A California king bed with silk sheets and a comforter that feels like a cloud! Okay, I really need to see how the hell this all happened. I begin, making my way back to the first floor.

As I stepped out back where there was a of course two large pools, two large Jacuzzis, four grills and bars… I am seriously going to have a talk with my parents… They put in a green house and an indoor stage for public actives and festivities. I cannot be to upset with them, can I? I sent out a group text saying family meeting, including Ishtar. I know it has only been two hours at most, but I need to know where we are at. I have this feeling someone has been watching me, and I need to be ready for anything.

Thank you all for coming on such short notice, I do apologize about the mess in our conference room. As you can see, we are still getting settled in even though this has been in the works for years now. “Lilith, I told you we had a surprise, dad and I were not joking.” I look over at my parents who just shrugged their shoulders and said it was something my grandma put into motion and had help from Ishtar, who just smiles at me.

Very well, then. Ishtar, how is it going with the rogues? I know there is a large group- she cuts me off and says it’s completed, we will move onto getting them situated in their new jobs, houses and finally training. Oh, wonderful! Cynthia, how are the cottages looking?  “Cottages are furnished, stocked with food, there is also clothing, and health and body care in place for them to freshen up.” You did all this within a week?...

Alex stands forward, this is the last time I’m going to say it sis. We have been at this a long time; it has been set in stone by our grandmother and Ishtar. You are not like other wolves, you are the one who will unite all the packs and supernatural beings. You are meant to be a Luna, always have been. I am sorry we did not tell you, but we were sworn into secrecy. Now you are of age, and ready to be our champion.

I feel tears streaming down my face, Alistair hugs me from behind and his embrace calms me. Well, let us get back to it, we should hold a ceremony tonight for the pack, and for the Alpha and Luna Ceremony. If you all do not mind, I think I will go rest now, Bella would you come with me please? “Of course, Luna.” As we left the conference room, I noticed that everything has started to look more normal. As if we have been living here for months. The new pack members were helping and readjusting to pack life, others were still wary due to their last pack crimes. Some rogues were not allowed due to the severity of their crime. Isthar has a way of making you reveal the truth, nothing slipped passed her. She even had time to send out invitations for the ceremony! I did not think we would need neighboring packs to witness but as my father put it, packs need allies always.

Once we reached my bedroom, Bella had an omega bring me a cup of tea. She checked my vitals and was worried why I was so tired. I really just wanted to ask her how everything has been with my brother. She insisted on telling me another time to let me rest. I nodded my head, and she closed the curtains, and exited the room. My eyelids were beginning to feel heavy, so I finally gave in and drifted off.
