Chapter 5

You deserved to live your life, have a childhood, and experience things for yourself - I say as I dip her. She looks into my eyes and I can hear her heartbeat racing, I can smell her arousal, the blood flowing through her veins… I pull her back up and take a step back. I am sorry my Lady, I obey the Moon Goddess and it was not my time to come to you. I look her in the eyes, I will not do anything to dishonor you. If we are meant to be mates in this lifetime then I cannot rush anything, or make you feel like I am trapping you. I will never lie to you my darling, as I taker hands.

I get on my knees, Lilith Blackhart… I have loved you and I will always love you, but your happiness and safety will always come before my own. I look up and her green eyes are getting teary eyed. I hold out a locket and a set of rings. I begin to explain their meaning and she listens to my story.  I stand up and give her my hand and she giggles at how polite I am. Lilith, have you ever been on a date, or had a boyfriend? She looks down and says no, that she was waiting for her mate. It is happening all over again, each life she chose to stay pure until her union with a mate. If the mate bond is weak, she will be vulnerable… Moon Goddess help me protect her, I pray in my mind as I grab my chest and she looks worried.

It is alright Lilith, it just you will not be safe if you are not mated. She flashes her emerald eyes at me and says well “I have my destined mate in front of me, and he happens to have wedding rings.” My jaw dropped and I just looked up at the moon. “Alistair, this is my life and I’m sure the Moon Goddess wants me to live it how I want too.” The moon’s light begins to engulf us, and a gentle breeze picks up, there was a harmonious feeling in the atmosphere, and I look down at her. She is shorter than the previous Ladies, but she was strong. I kneel before her and pull out the rings and clear my throat. I feel like this time will be different, maybe we will finally live out our lives and be together… Lilith Blackhart, will you do me the honor of becoming my wife and mate? The breeze is stronger, and the field of flowers look like they are dancing around us. Lilith’s eyes begin to fill with tears, “Yes!!! I have always loved you Ali, and I always will.” My jaw drops as she says those words and I respond – and I you. The last words we said to each other all those years ago. I smile and pull her and kiss her as if it was the last time. She snakes her arms around my neck, and I scoop her up as her legs wrap around my waist. Our kiss deepens as our tongues fights for dominance. I groan into her mouth, and Lilith pulls back to breath.

(Lilith’s P.O.V)

Alistair, you are the first guy I have kissed. He looks into my eyes and says it is okay. I know you have chosen a path of purity until you find your destined mate. I sigh in relief as he chuckles and hugs me, he holds me as if it is the last time. My body feels like it is on cloud nine, and I can finally feel Gaia more, she is jumping up in down in pure bliss. Alistair we will have to tell my family, I say nervously. He kisses me again and I moan as I feel his member harden against me. “Let’s go tell them baby.” I lick his lips and he licks mine back, a were wolf and vampire being mates was not a rare thing but it is not common.

Once he let me down, he pulled out his ring and the locket. He opened the locket this time and inside was an incredibly old picture of us. I smiled at him and then turned around, lifter my hair for him to put it on. Then I placed his ring on his hand and looked up at him, Alistair under the watchful eye of the Moon Goddess I swear to be true to you, and if she wills it so I wish that one day she will breaths life back into you. Alistair stares into my eyes, “Lilith under the watchful eye of the Moon Goddess I swear to be true to you in this life and the next. I will take thee as my wedded wife, I vow to be your faithful husband…” Alistair kneels down in pain, and I scream.

I mind link my family and to bring Bella. Bella arrives first and she immediately starts asking questions, if anything happened but when she tried to approach us, she got pushed back. Bella starts inspecting everything and jotting down answers in her journal. My family finally approaches but Bella holds them off. “There is a force field created by the moon light that surrounds the newlyweds.” Everyone gasps and I see Arthur standing in the back, eyes black from rage… My mother asks ‘newlyweds?”

Yes, newlyweds or about to be, mother! Alistair is my destined mate, and in order to protect me and help hone my abilities I need to be with my mate. We said our vows under the watchful eye of the Moon Goddess. I look up and plead with tears streaming down my face. Please do not take him from me, I drop to him and I decide to finish our vows. “I Lilith Helena Blackhart take Alistair Williams to be my lawfully wedded husband and to be my mate. I lean into kiss him when moonlight begin to hum a peaceful melody and then my body starts contorting and snapping. Am I shifting?! AHHHHHHHHH! I roar in pain. My family begins to panic because they know it is too soon, I just gained my wolf. Finally, my form starts taking shape and I get up, Gaia is now in full control. My mother drops to her knees.

My father says I am the most beautiful wolf he has seen besides mother. I am an all-back wolf with emerald eyes, my coat is shiny and healthy. They say I am a little larger than other females, but I know why. I am not just any wolf; I trot to Alistair and I howl. Suddenly everyone in the pack begins to howl in unison. I move his head to show his marking spot I lick it and whimper, but Gaia insists we bite him even though there is a chance that... No, I can't think like that. The Moon Goddess has granted my wish, and I tell Gaia to do it.

Alistair screams in pain but soon relaxes and his body starts fidgeting. Please Gods and Goddesses let this work, I howl again and so does the pack. Alistair begins to gently float, and the most beautiful light began to engulf him, this was magic, ancient magic… My eyes begin to fill with tears, and Gaia gives me back control. I shift back as he floats back to the ground, and on his knees. My hair is so long, and I think that it hides my body decently. Alistair? I look up at him and he is looking at his hands and touches his chest and he lets out a laugh. He looks at me in disbelief, and out of nowhere he runs, picks me up and spins me as light engulfs us. When the light fades, I am wearing this stunning silk white dress with a train. Alistair is in a white button up and white dress pants as we finish spinning, we giggle and begin to touch each other, circling one another, and finally the moon light is gone. My family are standing in shock and Bella begins to explain what they just witnessed.

You have witnessed a blessing from the Gods and Goddesses, especially the Moon Goddess… She has granted the newlyweds an incredibly special gift and she needed witnesses to be present. “What gift, Alexander said?” Bella smiles and says, Alistair is no longer a vampire; he is now a were wolf. Not just any wolf, he’s has been granted Alpha Bloodline, so the bond will be incredibly strong between the two, and if it ever falters. I interrupt Bella and say it will not. She smiles proudly, "As I said before, they are destined mates from the very beginning."
