Chapter Forty-Two. Time For A Change.
Chloe lay on the white bedsheets, her purple hair splayed out across the pillow, as she let out a low sigh.
“Hey, what is wrong, little mate?” Zander asked, as he pulled on a pair of joggers, ready to attend the afternoon training session.
“Oh, nothing much. You know, worried about one of our pup’s mates being mistreated, and how he is coping with it,” she sighed.
“That old chestnut,” Zander gave her a small, sympathetic smile. He understood perfectly what his mate was going through. They had been down the road before when Asher met Alisha, however, this time around, for all Hamish was what the world might call different, he knew that in reality his youngest born son would deal with this situation probably better than the current king had.
