“HELGA! Where are you!” Alma shouted from her kitchen sink.
It was always the same, her two year old child was at the exploring stage of her development, and the relatively new mother needed eyes in the back of her head, to keep a check on her daughter.
The water sloshed in the sink as she dropped another plate into it, ready to scrub. However, an uneasy feeling swirled in the pit of her stomach. Her daughter was quiet. Too quite. Something was wrong.
