Chapter Eighty-Two. Canadian Moon. Ronnie let out a long sigh of contentment as she walked through the woods on the land’s Hamish owned hand in hand with her mate. The tall trees stretched high into the slightly overcast sky, flanking a narrow path made from small stones, covered in the dried out brown remnants of the bracken which created the picturesque trail. Every once in a while, large rocks covered in different heathers appeared through the trees, some bigger than others. The rhythmic crunch of the mate’s footsteps made it sound like the forest had its own heartbeat. Fallen logs lay up ahead, creating the perfect area to sit down.
