No sooner than Rilee released Ronnie, Hamish took her by the hand interlocking their fingers. The sparks ran up both their arms, the pleasurable feeling increasing tenfold with each step they took towards the trees.
“It is really beautiful here,” Hamish breathed taking in the sounds of wildlife, appreciating the soft glow of the sun peaking through the curtain of lush green leaves, illuminating the forest floor.
“Yes, it is. I missed this walk. I would like to show you my secret place, from when I was a kid. In later years I found out it wasn’t as big of a secret as I had made it to be. I found some mates here, and well, let’s just say I got a lesson on the mate bond.” Ronnie giggled.
