Chapter Twenty-Nine. MATE’S
Jayne gave a small smile at Ronnie as she ate a big bag of mini marshmallows, scooping as many as she could into her hand and stuffing her mouth full. Jayne had asked her what food she had missed the most, and Ronnie had divulged hot chocolate with mini marshmallows, and so she had the omega’s make her some. The way the young woman’s eyes had lit up as she scooped the mini white marshmallows into her mouth with her teaspoon, and the undeniable fact that Ronnie had eaten them in double quick time, had Jayne mind linking for the whole bag to be brought to her. Was it the healthiest food for the malnourished girl? Definitely not. However, Jayne determined that after everything she had been through, she deserved the ultimate sugar rush as she devoured the bag. Ron
