~ Lila ~ --- Damon hadn’t said more than a handful of words to me all morning. He didn’t seem angry—at least, not on the surface. But something felt off. He drifted through the penthouse like a shadow—his gaze fixed on invisible issues, his lips pressed into a tight line, making phone calls in hushed tones behind closed doors.
