Six years later, in Country A. The warm yellow light illuminated the room. A slender figure bustled around in the kitchen as she prepared dinner for her family. Harold sat on the sofa, watching Emily. Her daughter, Noel Davis, climbed onto him. "Uncle Harold, do you like my mummy?" Harold's eyebrow twitched. He felt like pulling his hair out every time she addressed him that way. Emily refused to accept him and said that she only thought of him as her brother.
