1458 Words

Dylan's fingers twitched on the steering wheel. He glanced at her and said, "It's acceptable." Emily relaxed and fell silent. None of them spoke. The car fell into silence. Emily's gaze inadvertently fell on his fingers. They were long and slender, and his nails were neatly trimmed. Just like him, his hands left a strong impression. "Are they nice to look at?" Dylan's eyes remained on the road. It was only then that Emily realised that she'd been staring. She hurriedly turned to look out the window and acted like she hadn't heard him. Dylan turned to look at her with a faint smile on his lips. "Is my face nicer to look at than my hands?" Emily continued acting like she hadn't heard him. She closed her eyes and pretended to be asleep. She couldn't help ridiculing him in her heart.
