Naomi's POV
Just like that Beatrice and Alex have left the house. I was happy that Beatrice wasn't giving up on life and Alex decided to be a better person and I'm sure he's changed now.
My husband was so thoughtful, he had given him a proposal to join his organization. I believe maybe, just maybe this will be a new starting point for them.
The weekend air had a certain stillness to it—not empty, but waiting. Like the house knew someone was coming.
I got up, did little house chores, since we weren't much in the house again, some things needed to be returned to avoid littering everywhere. I also had to pump some milk for baby Aurora as my breast milk was already too full and weting my body.
Then I went to prepare food, cleared the kitchen and served the food.
