“Those people are so damn stupid!” Clara shakes her head, looking just as disappointed as I feel. I look out the window of her kitchen and try to find relief in the fact that Zeke doesn’t look as bothered by the rejection from the school. He’s playing with Clara’s daughter, Ivy.
