LYKAINA'S POV
I was so heartbroken after we got back from the run in the forest. I wanted to go hide somewhere in shame but I had training with Ophelia and Cassian soon.
I didn't bother going to Zarek's room to get my things. I rushed to my room and banged the door. The tears came pouring out, fast and hot. I can't believe that I was so foolish to think that he liked me.
I was so caught up with the fact that he always protected me, stood up for me and tried to help me with every little thing. I was so wrong in that thought.
I cleaned my tears and quickly took my bath then changed into a sports wear comprising of a joggers and bra top. I changed my boots for a pair of tennis shoes.
