I rang off with Rhea and quickly answered the call coming in. I thought it might be Morgan. He's the only one whose number I didn't have programmed into my phone.
"Hello?" I answered.
"You will not be Luna of the Thousand Oaks pack." said an ominous voice.
"What are you talking about?" I exclaimed.
"Be warned! You will not be welcomed as Luna." I heard the person hang up before I could say another word.
I quickly called Zander. I wish I had Morgan's number. I would feel more comfortable informing him first.
"Helen. We were just about to call you," Zander answered.
"We? Is Morgan there with you?" I asked with my throat tight from agitation.
"Yes, Helen. I'm here too. We are in my office. We have some news," Morgan said. I knew his office would be soundproofed. It had to be.
