Helen I started screaming and didn't stop until I was in their arms.I vaguely heard them pounding up the stairs but I was totally freaking out and couldn't take my eyes off of the body. She looked grotesque, lying there with her unseeing eyes. There was no blood or wounds that I could see but her purple face and bloated body...poison was the only thing I could think of, but I was trying not to think or feel. Until they wrapped me in their arms. My mates enveloped me and I was safe. The world righted again. For me, that is, not ever again for Lydia. What did she know that got her killed? I had questions, that's why I came up here to get her in the first place. It dawned on me, as my mates led me from the room, that was it, wasn't it? Whoever had that book last was the key to this mystery.
