The next day, I was left in our room to pack our bags for the trip. My Alpha mates had gone to tie up a few loose ends and arrange the convoy that would take us to the match. We had to be on high alert because the easiest way to get us out of the match would be to ambush us before we even got there. We would be leaving hours earlier than necessary so that we could travel slowly. We had people doing reconnaissance of the roadway even now, and we had even more people with their eyes on Miles and Baron who were at the destination already and had been for days.
