“Your father just told half the pack you’re a weak Alpha who’s thinking with his mate bond instead of his brain.” Declan said causing Ezra to glance at him. “I’m aware.” I stepped closer to the table and crossed my arms. “You’re not angry.” “I’m always angry lately.” “That’s not what I mean.” I said. His expression softened slightly. “No.” He admitted. “I’m not furious about the speech.” “That might make you the only wolf in the pack who isn’t.” Declan said. Ezra leaned his hands against the table again and looked down at the map. “He wants me to react.” “So.” Declan frowned. “So if I stand in front of the pack tomorrow and start arguing with him then he wins the moment.” The logic settled into the room slowly. Ezra tapped one finger against the eastern border line on the map.
