Dos’s Point of View “Long time no see, my favorite buddy!” Daniel grinned the second I climbed into his car. I dropped my duffel bag onto the backseat and gave him a look. “Long time no see, my ass. We literally saw each other last week.” He laughed, that easy, boyish laugh of his, and pulled out onto the road. “Yeah, yeah, I know. But damn, I missed you. You looked like you were ready to kill someone the last time I saw you.” I clenched my jaw. Yeah, I remembered. Who wouldn’t? It was the day June’s life was nearly ripped out from under me again.
