Is She Your Girl

Lunch was just about over when I felt something again. It was like an itch in the back of my throat, and I remember feeling a little like this the other night. I climbed to my feet, catching everyone’s attention.                 What is it? Jacek asked as I looked around.                 “I don’t know…” Then like an electrical shock, I figured out what it was. Hexic.                 I was off towards the front of the school where they said he had gone to earlier and rounded the next corner. My eyes scanned every inch to see Hexic being cornered my three cheerleaders from Darthwood. Slowly, I walked over, trying to hear what was going on before I barged in.                 “Your kind of cute, in a boring and weak kind of way.” A girl with long blond hair said as she tucked a single red highlight streak behind her ear.                 The taller brunette giggled, running her hand down his arm. “Have you ever f****d a girl before, boy?”                 “I bet he’s still pure, ladies.” The other girl with darker skin said licking her lips. “Can we take him now, Coralyn?”                 Hexic swallowed hard. “Please, let me get to my friends. They should be waiting for me.”                 The blond, apparently named Coralyn, rolled her eyes. “Don’t lie to us, boy. We know boys like you don’t have friends.”                 “Yeah, just stay with us. Haven’t you ever dreamed of f*****g three girls at once?” The dark-skinned cheerleader said as she touched the side of his face gently.                 The brunette nodded. “Santina is right, isn’t that ever guys fantasy?”                 “Not really.” Hexic said in a low voice. “I just want to get to my friends.”                 Coralyn reached forward to rub him through his jeans. “You’re not going anywhere, boy. Santina, Benny, and me are going to have some fun with you before the big game.”                 Hexic shook his head. “I don’t want to sleep with succubus’s, no offence. Your race has a tendency to kill its partners.”                 Benny shrugged. “That only happens if you are weak, don’t worry. We’ll be gentle. Now, take off your pants.”                 “Hexic, we’ve been waiting for you.”                 Everyone turned around to see me standing there with my best seductive smile on my face. The three succubus’s glared and snorted their displeasure as they saw me. Coralyn took a step forward before putting her nose to the air. Her eyes widened while I watched her eyes go a completely solid royal purple color.                 “You! Your human?!” Coralyn exclaimed with excitement.                 I gestured for Hexic to sneak away. “So I’ve been told. Why are you harassing my friend?”                 Benny jumped up and down, “She smells so good, Coralyn. Can we have her instead?”                 “Um, no.” I said, waiting for Hexic to just get far enough away. “I’m going to do a solid pass on that.”                 Santina made a pouty face. “Why? You don’t like girls?”                 I shrugged. “It’s not that. I dated two back where I grew up. I just don’t want to sleep with you three.”                 Benny made a sad noise. “How disappointing, but you are just a human. What could you possibly do against the three of us?”                 “Run, hide, stab you, I have options.” I watched Hexic move to a safe distance.                 Then like a wave the three girls were on me. Coralyn was behind me with her arm slung around the front of my shoulders, Benny was hugged up against my left side and taking in my scent, while Santina’s hands ran over my stomach and up to my breasts.                 “Hey, come on ladies.” I whined. “What is with all of you people that have abilities? So damn touchy.”                 Coralyn ran her tongue across my ear. “You say you want us to stop, but anyone could smell your arousal. Did you know that? Most all of us superior beings can scent out feelings or things the bodies does? You say no, but your little human body says yes.”                 I sighed. I hate myself sometimes. “Maybe so, but I am still going to head out. I just need you three to unhinge yourselves from me first.”                 “Coralyn, why aren’t our seductions working? She should be naked by now?” Benny whimpered, her hand groping my leg.                 “This must be quite embarrassing for you then.” I said rolling my eyes.                 Santina huffed. “We can always take them off her?”                 “Okay, this is getting a little ridiculous. How about we all step away from me.” I said getting ready for a fight.                 “Ladies, let the human go.”                 I was hopeful that it was Jacek, but the voice was wrong. When we all glanced over it was someone equally terrifying. He was just as tall as Jacek with a built stature and light messy blond hair what had curls to it. His face what handsome, in a boyish way rather than manly rough. His eyes were a strong amber, and his whole essence radiated dominance the same way Jacek did. He wore a white t-shirt and a pair of jeans, making him seem almost human, but only his clothes were such.                 Coralyn instantly let me go. “Drax, babe, we were just getting to know the human of Black Water High.”                 I thought for a moment. I knew that name? Where though? Hold the phone, that guy from earlier. He said…’Drax is just going...’ Ah, hell.                 “Do I have to repeat myself? Let her go.” Drax said as he stared down Santina and Benny.                 They let me go like I was on fire, and with a sigh I brushed them off my clothes. “Well, it’s been swell ladies.”                 I went to join Hexic, but suddenly someone was at my side. “I don’t even get a thank you?”                 “Sure, thanks.” I refused to look up to Drax as he followed right by my side.                 He snorted. “That was a crappy thank you.”                 I gave him a shrug. “What can I say? I’m all out of ‘thank you’s’ for you superhuman people. I just want to get back to my own people. Come on, Hexic.”                 “I’m right behind you, Cairyn.” Hexic said, trying his best to not catch the attention of Drax.                 He raised an eyebrow. “Cairyn? That’s a beautiful name for a beautiful person. What’s your last name?”                 “Human.” I rolled my eyes, but his hand caught mine and pulled me back against his chest. I was tempted to call for Jacek, but I didn’t want to bother him again. “What do you want?”                 Drax smiled while looking down to my lips. “I want your last name. That’s it.”                 I huffed. “It’s Castell. Happy now?”                 He looked shocked. “No, please don’t lie to me. If it’s one thing I hate, it’s a lying human.”                 “She’s not lying.” Hexic said, bring all the attention onto himself. “Her name is Cairyn Castell. Please, let her go.”                 I smirked at him. “If there’s one thing I hate, it’s a touchy super-being that doesn't know what personal space is. I don’t know you, and I would appreciate it if you would unzip me from your damn body.”                 Drax laughed a little, but did what I asked. “Where are you going in such a hurry?”                 “Back to my people, come on Hexic.” I said over my shoulder.                 “He’s part of your people?” Drax raised an eyebrow while pointing to Hexic.                 I scoffed at that. “Hexic is an amazing guy, but you super folk are always so quick to judge. Hexic is stronger than most of you. He is just shy.”                 Hexic blushed as he kept his eyes on the ground. “Thanks, Cairyn.”                 “Anytime, babe.” I said before looking over to Drax. “Oh, you’re still here…”                 Drax huffed. “Yeah, I think I’m going to hang out with you the rest of the day.”                 I stopped and shook my head at him. “Oh no. No, you are not. Go away, shoo.”                 “I’m not a dog you can shoo away, Cairyn. What’s got you so stressed?” He asked while me and Hexic picked up our pace.                 “You, and all them super-beings you brought with you from Darthwood.” I could finally see Gwyneth sitting in the grass and felt a little relieved.                 “You know, all of us are either Demi gods or Immortals, not super-beings.” Drax said matter-of-factly.                 I rolled my eyes at him. “Yeah, I know, but I don’t care. Why are you still following me?”                 Hexic hurried forward, I was assuming to warn the others of their new trespasser, but Drax didn’t seemed worried in the slightest.                 “I’m starting to really like you, Cairyn the human. Do you have a boyfriend?”                 I stumbled a little. “Why does it matter to you?”                 He smirked over at me. “Because I want to ask you out.”                 Gwyneth was already on her feet with Casey next to her. “I don’t think that’s a good idea.”                 Drax glared over at her. “Why not, wait a minute…I know you don’t I?”                 “Where’s-“ I started to say, but Gwyneth interrupted.                 “Yeah, you do. I was there helping the football player you broke in half last year. I teleported him to the clinic.” Gwyn said, staring him down.                 I sighed. Well, at least now that Drax was busy with Gwyneth I moved to try and find Jacek. I went to walk back into the cafeteria, but a strong grip on my hand stopped me.                 “Hey! What the hell?” Casey went to move towards me, but I shook my head at him.                 “Let go of me, Drax.” I said with a sigh.                 Drax raised an eyebrow at me. “Where are you going?”                 I sighed. “I’m looking for someone. Why don’t you go harass…that girl right there. I bet she will absolutely love you.”                 Everyone looked over to see me pointing to Vivian. Drax scoffed at the thought.                 “Vivian? Really? That dragon is easier than the first level of Pack-man.”                 I groaned. “Well, it was worth a shot at you leaving me alone.”                 Gwyneth leaned over and whispered to me. “Jacek was called to the office for something. We’re on our own for now.”                 “That’s just awesome.” I sighed. “Hey, let go of my hand.”                 Drax had moved forward to interlock his hand in mine. “You can push me off anytime.”                 I leaned over and attempted to push him away, but just like I thought he didn’t budge. “Liar.”                 “I said you can, not that you could.” He said with a wink.                 “Bloody hell…” I groaned. “Gwyneth?”                 She flashed to my side, taking my other hand in hers and flashed away. When we were stable I looked over and sighed.                 “He’s still here.”                 She let out a deep breath. “He has to let go or I take him too.”                 I let out a frustrated yell, kind of hoping Jacek would hear. “Why did he get called to the office?”                 Gwyneth shrugged. “We don’t know, Erin just came by and said that the principal wanted to see him as soon as you left.”                 “Damnit, I want to call him.” I whined.                 Drax chuckled. “Who’s that? What ‘he’ are you talking about?”                 “None of your business, at least until he gets back.” I said while rolling my eyes.                 Casey was now back over with us and went right up to Drax. “Dude, let her go. Cairyn gets enough harassment from the school without you Darthwood people.”                 Drax shrugged. “With me, no one will even look in her direction a wrong way.”                 “You can’t stand up to him, if that’s what you’re thinking.” I said raising my eyebrow.                 He looked curious. “I’m dying to know who this guy is you keep referring too. Is he your boyfriend?”                 I shook my head, but behind me Gwyneth smirked. “He is, and if you don’t let her go he’s going to tear you to shreds.”                 “Huh?” I turned to give her a ‘what the hell’ look.                 Drax straightened. “You have a boyfriend, Cairyn?”                 I shrugged. “If it’s true will you let my hand go?”                 “No, it was just a question.” He said with a one shoulder shrug.                 “Whatever. You still have nothing on my guy.” I groaned. Getting kind of fed up with this treatment. Please hurry, Jacek…                 Then as if he heard me, Jacek came out of the school and instantly locked eyes with me. I smiled and tried to move to his side, but Drax made it impossible to go any further. Jacek’s eyes narrowed, and with a sad look on my face I lifted my hand a little to show him my predicament. In a flash, Jacek materialized next to me with his hand on Drax’s wrist.                 Drax smiled big, but didn’t let go of me. “You must be the him they all keep referring too.”                 Jacek’s emotionless aura was scarier than normal. “Let the human go.”                 “No, I don’t think I will be doing that.” Without hesitation, Drax yanked out of Jacek’s grasp.                 Suddenly I felt weird, my whole body felt like I wasn’t here. I was starting to panic as I looked Jacek in the eyes. He looked angry and slightly confused. I reached out for him, but as our hands touched mine went right through his.                 “What the hell?” I felt my heart jump into my throat. “Jacek?”                 He glared over at Drax. “If you’re not careful, you’re going to hurt her.”                 Drax shook his head. “I won’t. The question is, how are you going to get your little girlfriend back? You can’t even touch her.”                 Gwyneth rubbed her arm nervously at the ‘girlfriend’ comment, but Jacek never skipped a beat. He looked like he was studying us, and I was desperate to get back to him. I didn’t like this feeling, not one bit. My body began to ache, first in my back and then in my chest.                 “Jacek? It’s starting to hurt.” I begged, wincing at the pain I was starting to feel.                 He shook out his hand before reaching for me. I watched as his hand grabbed mine, causing my body to re-materialize, all but the hand that was being held by Drax. He looked stunned and confused as he looked over to Jacek.                 “How the hell did you do that? Who the f**k are you?” Drax questioned with a near disgusted look on his face.                 I took the advantage and yanked my hand from his. The moment I was out of his grasp, Jacek pulled me back into his chest, wrapping his arm around the front of my shoulders. “Don’t bother Cairyn again.”                 Feeling cozy I tilted my head to the side, slightly taunting Drax. “Told you.”                 Drax smirked. “He’s good. I’ll give him that. What’s your name?”                 Jacek ignored him entirely. Are you okay, dolcezza?                 His deep voice was right there in my head, sending tingles down my spine. “I’m fine, was harassed by three succubi’s while you were gone too.”                 Really? How is it you get into so much trouble for such a small human?                 I huffed at him. “You know, that is a very good question, Mr. Bad Wolf. One that I think will never be answered.”                 Drax looked over to Gwyneth and Casey with a confused expression. “What’s happening?”                 Casey shrugged. “They are talking to each other.”                 “He’s not saying anything though.” Drax looked back over to us.                 Gwyneth rolled her eyes. “He doesn’t have too. Cairyn can hear Jacek in her head, she just speaks back to him because she is human and can’t project her thoughts the same.”                 Drax nodded slowly, watching me and Jacek while we were in our own world. “That’s very interesting. So, his name’s Jacek. I’ve heard of him.”                 Hearing his name, I glanced over and smirked. “I’m sure you have, Jacek is apparently really popular among the ladies.”                 Jacek shook his head, completely un-amused. “Your impossible, dolcezza.”                 “Oh, I know.” I said looking up to him. Giving him a sexy wink as I smiled. “But you like it.”                 He shook his head. Most of the time.                 “Is she your girl?”                 Drax interrupted us, and his question slightly caught us off guard. I felt Jacek’s arm loosen as he let it fall away from me, I glanced over to him with a smirk on my face. This is twice in one day that we’ve been badgered about this, and it looked like it was starting to annoy Jacek.                 “Why does it matter to you so much?” I asked as I watched Hexic say something to Jacek.                 Drax smiled at me. “If you two are dating I’ll back off, but if not I wanna ask you out.”                 I stilled for a moment. “Wait what?”                 His smile never faded. “I want to ask you to go out with me, just on one date. Come with me to the football game.”                 “You want me to go on a date with you to the football game against my own school? What in the past twenty minutes have given you the idea that I am even interested?” I asked, crossing my arms over my chest.                 Drax licked his lips as his eyes roamed over me. “What do you have to lose? It’s not like your bad boy over there is committing to you. So, come with me. I promise I’ll be gentle so I don’t hurt you.”                 That set me off. Let me explain why. “Hey, you know nothing. He has literally saved my life more times than I can count on my one hand, and has never complained about it. So, thank you for your offer, but I’ll be in the stands with my friends watching you lose to Black Water. The bell is about to ring, so, goodbye Drax.”                 Before he got to say anything else the bell rang, and I quickly headed to Jacek’s side with Gwyneth, Casey, and Hexic around us. Together, we dominated the hallways, and this is how we wanted it.
