Bleed Out

We went back to the party and struggled to find any of our friends. There was music blaring, people dancing and moving. Marri and her ex were hugged up against each other on the dance floor, well, dance grass. I could see nothing but bodies, and I knew it was going to be a struggle for me to find them, but maybe not someone else.                 “Do you know where they are?” I asked looking up to him.                 Jacek nodded. This way.                 I saw Gwyneth and smiled to Jacek. “Will you go find Casey for me? I’ll see what’s up with her.”                 “Please don’t go far.” He said before disappearing.                 I couldn’t help the big smile on my face. “Wouldn’t dream of it, babe.”                 As I weaved through the crowd I could see Gwyneth downing a cup. All around me the students parted like the sea for me. I was assuming they thought I was Jacek at first, at least until l they saw me. I groaned internally. This is going to be a new whole thing to get used too.                 “Gwyn! Hey, why do you look so upset?” I asked her, reaching out to take her hand.                 Her pretty face was pained, her golden eyes darting around the crowd. “Cairyn! I’ve been looking for you! They took Hexic somewhere!”                 “What? Who?” I asked, trying to get he to calmly talk to me.                 She ran a hand through her blue hair. “My ex! Johnny Sands, he heard the conversation between Jacek and Casey. He come over to me, shouting about how stupid I was and that he was going to teach Hexic a lesson. He kept shouting that he wasn’t on the List and that I couldn’t…”                 I shook my head. “What conversation? Gwyneth? What’s going on with you and Hexic that he needs to be disciplined?”                 “We’re f*****g, Cairyn. Please, don’t judge me. I’m getting enough of that from all the students around us. Please, please help me find him.” Gwyneth begged.                 “Gwyn” I grabbed her shoulders to get her to look at me. “Why would I judge you? I think you two together are pretty cute. Now, let’s go find Hexic and we’ll teach this Johnny a lesson not to f**k with our friends.”                       “Hexic!” I called out, trying my hardest to see in the dark. “At times like this I really wish I wasn’t human.”                 Gwyneth took my hand and flashed us deeper into the forest. “This might not be the best time, but you do know that you smell like danger? It actually reminds me of…”                 “Jacek? Yeah, I kind of had him scent me or whatever you Immortals call it. Is it really that prominent?” I asked, scanning the area for any sign of movement.                 She nodded. “It’s a pretty intimidating scent, Cairyn. Wait, do you hear that?”                 I rolled my eyes. “No, but if you hear something then it’s probably something. Lead the way.”                 She led me down a few tree’s and let out a slight shriek. It was dark, but luckily my eyes were adjusting. I could see two figured standing over a slumped over body, which I was guessing was Hexic. Upon hearing Gwyneth, the two stopped and took a step back from Hexic.                 “Gwyn, get him out of here. Now.” I whispered to her. “Let me distract them, and take him away.”                 She whimpered a little, but didn’t protest me as she got into a good stance.                 “Hey, f**k boys! Two on one? What’s wrong, Johnny? Can’t take on Hexic by yourself?” I taunted, taking a few steps off to the right. I was trying to pull their attention to me, and away from Hexic and what Gwyneth was about to do.                 “Who the f**k are you? Wait, I recognize you. Your Gwynie’s new friend, the hot human, right?” He said, falling right into my plan.                 I rolled my eyes. “Uh, yeah sure. Who’s your friend? I’m human and can’t see well in the dark.”                 “I’m Cameron, I’ve been waiting to meet you, but that guy is always around you.” Johnny’s friend said joining him in stalking me.                 I watched behind then as Gwyneth flashed to Hexic and then they were gone. “Well, as nice as this meeting has been, I really need to get back to the party. Bye boys.”                 I knew it wasn’t going to be easy to get away from them, but what it was going to take? I wasn’t sure about.                 Johnny was suddenly at my side with one of my wrists in his grasp. “Your sneaky, having Gwyneth teleport that pathetic Immortal away from here was smart, but at what cost to you, baby?”                 “You don’t scare me. I’ve grown quite a thick skin since starting at Black Water.” I said trying to pull out of his grasp, but strong hands on my waist kept me from moving an inch.                 Cameron leaned in to inhale deeply. “She smells like s*x, but I can’t smell a male partner. Must have been only her that came.”                 “Stop smelling me like that, it’s weird. Didn’t your parents ever teach you about personal space?” I leaned away from Cameron, but didn’t move very far.                 “That’s promising, you know what I want to do?” Johnny said over my head to his friend.                 “What?” Cameron asked as he licked the side of my neck, instantly getting a new scent trail. “It’s Jacek’s scent markers on her skin.”                 Johnny shrugged. “I figured it was. You wanna know what she tastes like?”                 My heart pounded in my chest. “Woah, let’s not make any rash decisions now, boys. Why don’t you go beat up some Darthwood guys? I heard they are always ready for a fight.”                 How the hell do I always end up in these kinds of situations? I fricking hate being a human sometimes.                 “Let’s do it.” Cameron said with a chuckle.                 f**k. f**k. f**k. What the hell can I do?                 Johnny held up a hand and I watched as his first finger’s nail slid out to be razor sharp “This is going to be almost as fun as f*****g that girl last week, that cheerleader?”                 “I doubt it.” I said dryly.                 He lifted my wrist and smirked. He placed the tip of his nail right under his hand, pushed in to pierce the skin, then began to drag it down the length of my arm almost to my elbow. I growled in pain before he nicked the top of my shoulder to allow Cameron easy access. Without a moment notice Cameron latched onto my shoulder while Johnny licked up and down my arm like a lollipop. I groaned and tried to pull away as his rough tongue drug across my sliced skin.                 I felt sharp teeth glide against the cut on my shoulder, causing me to jerk as hard as I could. “Don’t you f*****g dare! I’m not going to sit back and let you mark me you asshole!”                 Cameron chuckled. “What choice do you have, huh? I’m kind of looking forward to see everyone staring at my mark on your skin.”                 “I won’t let you.” I growled as Johnny took more gulps of my blood out of my arm.                 He glanced up and licks his lips, his face messy with the red liquid. “If he doesn’t mark you, I’m going too. This blood of yours tastes like sugar milk and honey. I think it’s making me drunk, Cam.”                 Cameron nodded against me. “We have to stop soon, or we’ll kill her.”                 “What’s wrong with that?” Johnny said licking a trail of blood from the wound.                 “Don’t be stupid. If we kill her now, we will never get to feed from her again. Think you, idiot.” Cameron said before leaning in and dragging his fangs across my skin.                 I was too weak. It took everything in me to keep standing, let alone push the two off me. Then I remembered, how did I forget up till now? I let out a sigh before closing my eyes. “Jacek.”                   Johnny glanced up and rolled his eyes, but then froze at the sound of breaking bones.                 I felt Cameron’s hands leave my waist as those loud snapping sounds echoed through the tree’s. I glanced over my shoulder. I wasn’t afraid. I wanted to see what Jacek was doing to him. To the monster that was draining my blood and was going to mark me so he could indefinitely. Jacek’s first hit had broken Cameron’s back before slamming him face first to the ground. When on the ground, Jacek reached down to break both of his arms in four places before completely obliterating the backs of Cameron’s knees with vicious stomps.                 When Jacek turned his attention to Johnny, I saw the fear in his eyes. I chuckled a little.                 “Your so fucked.”                 He growled at me, grabbing my body against him and dashing out of there. We were moving so fast I thought I was going to hurl at the blurry forest. Before I knew it, we were out in the parking lot, and Johnny was desperately trying to get into his truck. But, Jacek was faster than he expected. I let out a sigh of relief as Jacek pulled me away from Johnny, then grabbed him by his mop like hair. With ease and blacked out eyes, Jacek kicked his legs out from under him. Allowing his face to slam down on the concrete. I watched without blinking as Jacek placed Johnny’s mouth on the curb, kicking him in the side twice as he tried to move away. When Johnny was back in position, he slammed down on the back of his head, completely breaking his jaw and shattering most of his teeth. The screams of death coming from Johnny caused a crowd to appear, all in either awe or horror at what Jacek had done. While my whole body betrayed me, in between my thighs were soaked seeing how protective Jacek had become. Destroying the objects of my distress and pain.                 He moved back to me, but hesitated before grabbing me. I smiled weakly up at him as I held out my arms for him to pick me up and wrap my arms around his neck. He carried me away and to his bike, sitting me down on it before looking down at my arm.                 It’s really deep, Cairyn. There is only one way I know of to stop the bleeding immediately.                    His voice was deep, and I could tell he was still livid from what happened. “Do it. I don’t care what it takes.”                 Without another word, he leaned down and ran his tongue across the cut like Johnny was doing, just gently. When he leaned back I watched the slice slowly stop bleeding, healing into a scabby form. I was amazed and yet terrified, not of Jacek, but of how close I was to being completely screwed. With a deep breath in my lungs, I pulled my hair to the side and showed the other cut. He glanced up and did the same to that one.                 “Why were you out there alone with those guys, Cairyn?” He asked out loud, and I was sure if someone came by and said one thing to him, Jacek was going to snap.                 I cupped his face in my hands, leaning forward to place my lips to his. Feeling relief wash over him as it did to me. “That guy you curb stomped took Hexic and they were jumping him in the woods. Gwyneth was freaking out and I went with her to find him. I didn’t think something like that was going to happen. At first I was afraid they were going to…but they decided on my blood instead.”                 “You should have called me sooner.” He scolded as he ran a hand through his hair.                 I nodded. “I really should have, but I kind of forgot I could do that.”                 He let his head fall forward so it was resting against my knee. Are you disgusted with me? I might have gone a little overboard with those two, but I couldn’t stop myself.                 “Not in the slightest, babe. I’ve never had a guy stomp someone’s teeth out for me before. Come here.”                 Jacek stood and leaned in to be close to me. I laced my hand in his hair as I smashed my lips to his hungrily. This guy. This haunting, beautiful, terrifying, intimidating guy was exactly what I wanted. Wait, idea.                 I pulled away to give Jacek a questioning look. “Hold the phone. Jacek, are you sure you’re not a vampire?”                 He smiled, shaking his head at me. You are insufferable, dolcezza.                 “But you love it.” I said with a wink.                 Yeah, I do. He said before standing up straight to hand me his helmet. We’re done with this party.                 I nodded, trying to get over the fact he just admitted to loving something about me.                           We left as soon as I got done texting Gwyneth and Casey, letting them know that we were leaving. Jacek sailed us down the road, and I was happily clinging to his back. This is where I want to be, with him. Stupid feelings. I knew exactly what I was feeling, but there was no way in hell I was going to admit it right at this moment. Jacek has done so much for me already, and now he was driving me home after brutalizing two guys who attacked me. I won’t mention to him how aroused I had gotten, not at the whole breaking bones and loosing teeth thing, but seeing Jacek going all hulk to protect me. That’s what was arousing. I was also a hundred percent sure that Jacek knew I was turned on, which made it even more awkward. I wasn’t sure on how to explain that to him, maybe I didn’t have too. Maybe.                 Jacek pulled into my driveway and helped me off the bike. I slipped off the helmet before my thoughts turned to what Jacek had said earlier. About his father being able to smell me on him, Jacek made me c*m and licked some of my blood. If there was a time his father would be able to catch my scent, it would be tonight.                 “Do you want to spend the night here? With me?”                 He looked over with a raised eyebrow. Are you sure your mother won’t kill me?                 I shrugged. “I think she actually likes you, so maybe she won’t kill you. Just maim or something.”                 Jacek rolled his eyes at me. That’s comforting, dolcezza.                 “It’s stay here with me or go home. I rather you stay right here with me, that way I don’t have to worry about you and can get some sleep.” I said as I crossed my arms.                 You don’t have to worry about me. I’m pretty tough. He said with a shrug.                 I groaned. “I’m done arguing with you, babe. Get off the bike and come in the house with me before I drag you.”                 Jacek raised an eyebrow at me. So, demanding for such a tiny human.                 I giggled while shrugging. “Yeah, but you’re still getting off your bike.”                 Jacek shook his head at me, but I was right. He was getting off. You’re going to be the death of me, dolcezza.
