Chapter 11:
LONG MAY HE REIGN
Edmontosaurus alarm calls sounded as Mwari stepped out of the forest and onto the swampy fern plains. His belly full, Mwari paid no attention to the grazing herds as he made his way across the plains to the other side of the forest. After a few minutes of navigating through the trees, Mwari made it to the top of a hill where his daughter, Yennenga, lay sleeping. He sat down next to her and watched as the sun began to set over his kingdom. He had a full view of the swampy plains as the herds began to move across them. Mwari sat in contentment, seeing the wealth of prey in his territory. He was grateful for his wealth and that he could share it with his daughter. Her peaceful state put him at ease as he relaxed in the warmth of the evening.
