HE CAME HOME DRUNK.

"Alright. I want you to pretend to be my girlfriend for a while, I'll pay you well." Arnold said.
"What?" Celine asked and he hung up the call.
"What in the world is this job?" Celine thought.
Celine began thinking..."This is a Herculean task,how do I go about it? I hope and wish I am not acting in a bumbling way. For me to pretend as his girlfriend,it means we will be living under the same roof and we are going to be together if he has business meetings. How do I even cope since i have no feeling or love for him. Will his mother like me?
"Enough of this thinking, I'll call him to tell me that I'm interested since the pay is good and I have no choice." Celine said to herself.
"Mom...I have found a job." Celine said gesturing at her mom who was cutting vegetables in the kitchen.
"You've called the man?" Mrs Holland asked.
"Yes Mom."
"What then did he offer you as a job?"
"The job is for me to pretend like his girlfriend and he'll pay me." Celine said pouting.
"It's your choice at the moment. Are you willing to do this?"
"Yes Mom. He said I should pretend to be his girlfriend just for a while." Celine said.
"Then go pack your bags and start immediately."
"Okay Mom. I have his address on the card he gave me. I'll go to his house tomorrow."
"I and fiona will miss you." Mrs Holland said.
"I'll miss you more, I'll be coming once in a while to visit you." Celine said and hugged her mom.
**Next day.
Celine stood in front of a big beautiful Mansion gate. She checked the card on her hand.
"The address corresponds." Celine thought and dialed Arnold's line.
"I'm here." Celine said and hung up the call.
Immediately,some maids opened the gate.
Celine entered and her small bag was being carried by the maids.
"Thank you." Celine said to the maids and looked around in amazement.
"This way, ma'am." A maid said directing celine as she was heading towards another direction.
The maids and celine entered the living room.
Celine was so amazed. The interior part of the house was more beautiful than the the exterior.
"Who do we have here?" Arnold asked as celine turned back.
"Hi, Arnold." Celine said weakly with a smile.
"He's so cute and handsome,how come I didn't realize that so soon?" Celine thought.
"Hi, good morning. I see you're interested." Arnold said in a Stern voice.
"Yes I am,I have no choice." Celine said looking down.
"By the way,you look beautiful." Arnold said taking a step closer to celine.
"Huh?" Celine eyes widened.
Arnold came closer.
"Remember you're here to pretend to be my girlfriend. Make sure you clear your emotions and feelings from this." Arnold said with a cold tone.
"Yes, Arnold." Celine said looking down.
"Good. The maids will take you to your room,go to your room, freshen up and change to the clothes in the wardrobe." Arnold said and signalled to the maids.
The maids took celine to the room, bathed her and got her changed into a white crop top and a knee jean skirt.
The maids also packed her hair well and oiled it.
Celine was looking more beautiful.
"You can go." Celine said and the maids left.
"Arnold is not really nice,how come he's not smiling. Probably I should just come to pretend and nothing more." Celine thought and left the bedroom to the living room.
"I'm done." Celine said and Arnold eyes trailed her body.
"Alright,my mom will be here soon." Arnold said and Celine's heart skipped a beat.
Arnold's mother came into their midst.
"Good morning Mom." Arnold said smiling.
"Good morning ma'am." Celine also greeted with a smile.
"Arnold, who's she?" Mrs Smith asked.
"She's my girlfriend." Arnold said and wrapped his arms around celine.
"Wow,my goodness finally you heeded to my words."Mrs Smith said smiling and moved close to celine.
"What's your name,my beautiful daughter?" She asked.
"My name is Celine Holland." Celine said smiling.
"What a nice name. Feel at home dear." Mrs Smith said.
"Thank you ma'am." Celine said.
"Come,let me show you around." Mrs Smith said holding Celine's hands.
"Mom, that's the duty of the chief maid." Arnold said.
"I know,I choose to do this myself." Mrs Smith said and left the sitting room with celine.
Mrs Smith showed celine every part in the Mansion.
Celine moved to the kitchen and prepared fried Chicken and chips. She made chilled orange juice.
She served the food on the dining table.
"Mom. I made some food and I've served it on the table ma'am, please come,and eat." Celine said and noticed Arnold who was focused on his laptop.
"Alright,my daughter,you shouldn't stress yourself, that's why we have the maids to do this; but since it's your first time in this house, I'll eat it." Mrs Smith said smiling.
"Alright ma'am." Celine said and headed towards the dining table.
"Son, won't you come join us?" Mrs Smith asked.
"I will be there." Arnold replied shutting down his laptop.
He Drew the chair backwards and sat opposite celine.
"So,what are your plans Arnold?" Mrs Smith asked.
"I don't understand mom." Arnold replied and Celine sipped a glass of water.
"I mean what are your marriage plans?" Mrs Smith asked and celine choked on her water.
"Are you alright?" Arnold asking standing and moving towards her,he used his napkin to Clean her mouth.
"I'm alright,thank you." Celine said.
"Mom, I'm not making any plans about any marriage now." Arnold said.
After they ate,the maids cleared the table and celine went into her room.
**Night.
Celine was in her room dressed in her transperent night gown.
The gown brought out all her curves.
Arnold has been out since afternoon and he got home drunk.
"Does he really drink like this?" Celine thought and laid to sleep.
She heard a knock on her room door.
"Who's there?" She asked and got no reply.
She opened the door and it was Arnold.
"What do you want?" Celine asked.
"You." Arnold said drunkly.
