The creature that was once Valeria took a step forward, her eyes fixed on us with an unnerving intensity. The air around her seemed to ripple and distort, as if her very presence was warping reality. "Alexei, get back," I whispered, trying to keep my voice steady. "We don't know what she's capable of." Alexei nodded, his eyes wide with fear, and took a step back. But I knew it was too late. Valeria's gaze had already locked onto us, and she was moving forward with a deadly, predatorial grace. As she approached, I could feel the power emanating from her. It was like nothing I had ever felt before - a raw, primal energy that seemed to speak to something deep within me. "Valeria, stop," I said, trying to reason with her. "You don't want to do this." But the creature that was once Valeria didn't seem to hear me. She kept moving forward, her eyes blazing with an otherworldly light. And then, in a flash of movement, she was upon us. Alexei let out a shout as she grabbed him, her hand closing around his throat like a vice. "Valeria, no!" I shouted, trying to intervene. But it was too late. With a swift, brutal motion, Valeria snapped Alexei's neck, killing him instantly. I froze, horror-struck, as Valeria turned to face me. Her eyes were no longer human, shining with a feral, predatorial light. "You're next," she growled, her voice barely recognizable. I knew I had to act fast. I reached for my gun, my mind racing with thoughts of escape, of survival. But as I looked into Valeria's eyes, I knew it was already too late. The creature that was once Valeria was too powerful, too fast. I was no match for her. And as she lunged at me, I knew that I was staring death in the face...
