I was awestruck. I was completely dumbfounded. I could not believe that she would go so far as to ridicule me and make an embarrassing display in front of the people of this great kingdom. I absolutely could not believe her words. And to make matters worse, the worst part about it was still to come. She continued her banter to ridicule me further. I do not know what I did to upset her to such a degree to disown me like this. She did not even give me an opportunity to say a word in my defense.
