Rosalynn's POV:
I finally said, "How long have you been out here?" I was not expecting his reaction. It was like he took a deep breath and fell back to the ground from his crouched position on his knees.
It was quite a story, how he lost his parents at the age of eleven and how he wandered out in the woods away from it all and he came upon this place and decided to make it home. He has been out here all this time. The only supplies that he found were what he had in the cottage. He said that he did not know of any family other than the fact that his family kept to themselves.
