Victor's POV:
I had never met my mate before. I knew the signs once a wolf's mate came into close contact for the first time. I knew all of the signs. When it actually happened, I was not ready for it. However, I would not allow that to catch me off guard. At least I would not show that I was caught off guard, even if I knew that was the fact I was dealing with. I was revered by all and I would not allow myself to falter now. Even so, now that I have found my mate, I will make it known that she is mine and I am to be hers as well. In that fact, I will ensure that no one will come to hinder this either. Another fact is that she is the one who is to rule this kingdom. I would do everything in my power to make it so and keep her safe during her time as well.
