To be honest, I truly could not believe my eyes and what they beheld before me. Was I indeed actually looking at what I think they were actually looking at? Was that indeed a female lying on the bed inside this little cottage just now? How long had she been lying there? Why was she not up and moving around as a young woman should be? What happened to her? All of a sudden, my mind was flooded, as so many questions rushed in and wanted to be answered. I tried to calm my thoughts as to why Jackson would just show up at my office, especially after all these years later without a single trace. Or the fact that there has not been one bit of contact from him in all this time.
