Calista walks through the meadow slowly with her hands out walking through tall grass. She looks around smiling, and feeling quite different than the last time she was here, only a few weeks ago. Her fear and dread is gone. Those feelings are replaced with hope for the future, now that she is sure she will have one. A future that doesn’t involve being a servant, when she should be an alpha.
She walks to the water, and sits down by the shore of the stream. A small waterfall made by a large boulder and fallen tree is nearby, helping to add to nature’s chorus of life.
“You’re happy.” Onyx says, sounding content.
