Calista sits at her vanity while Sarah and Katie work on her hair. Her long black hair, pulled up into an updo, with long ringlets framing her face.
She turns around and they apply her makeup. “I’ve never worn this stuff before.” She says as they rogue her cheeks and paint her eyelids with a smoky gray color.
“I want to see.” She says.
“I am sure you do. But, wait until you’ve put on your dress. King Magnus is going to hold his breath when he sees you.” Sarah says smiling down at her friend, she didn't realize she shed a tear.
Calista looks at her, “What is wrong?”
Sarah smiles, and wipes her cheek. “I am so happy for you. Wait until you see how beautiful you are.” She replies, turning to help Katie with the dress.
