Bewildered, the clothes she should have placed in the laundry basket, fell on the floor. She could see a very unfamiliar face looking right back at her.

Yes, Lyra knew she was looking at herself, but why can't she recognize her face?

This appearance was different from what she used to have.

So what happened? Was she reborn into another body? Is this why Alex said she had died when she was still living?

Perhaps this was the reason Alex decided to change their identities.

But how was this possible? Did she get an operation? Changed her face? What about the changes in her eyes?

Although she was first attracted to Alex's emerald eyes, added with her confusion, she thought he was wearing contact lenses since she had no time to look more closely at his eyes.

Feeling disbelief at what she was seeing in the mirror, what attracted her the most was the pair of translucent emerald iris, clear as a real translucent gemstone, shining beautifully as the bathroom's fluorescent reflected and matched her almond-shaped eyes.

Lyra didn't think she was wearing any contact lenses, those eyes are alive.

Just imagine a ceramic doll placed with an emerald gemstone as its eyes. Placed into a living person’s eyes, looking more like a well-polished gemstone, yet capable of showing different emotions.

She can’t imagine how a human could have such eyes.

There are people with naturally green eyes. There are also some contact lenses, but Lyra had never seen such translucent emerald eyes.

It may look beautiful, yet, it can only be seen from a monster’s eyes compared to normal humans.

Yes, that’s what she thinks. Comparing herself from normal humans.

Even though she has lost her memories, it can’t hide the fact of what she heard from the laboratory about turning her into a pure werewolf that she had only read in some books.

However, reality hit her hard.

Was she still human after experiencing those experiments? Were those people from the lab who belong to a Research Institute trying to create a real werewolf?

It was such a crazy idea, but it has been proven to her that it was already taken into action.

It was unbelievably enchanting, yet terrifying. Making it hard for her to look away.

But Lyra wondered why she didn't feel the same when she noticed Alex's eyes even though she didn't have time to appreciate it. It looks so natural, not thinking that it was a monster’s eyes.

He mentioned that “they escaped,” he even had an experiment subject name, meaning that Alex was also one of the experiment subjects, just like her since they had similarities.

However, they may both have similar eye colors, but she can see the difference between hers and his.

Alex's eyes didn’t have the power to gain attention, but her eyes seemed like a magnet, hooking anyone to stare straight at them.

Or maybe she’s just thinking too much, besides she can’t possibly know what other people think of her eyes.

Pulling her sight away from that unique iris, she has thick and long naturally curled eyelashes, making her eyes look even more unique and remarkable. Very attention-grabbing.

She also had a beautiful shape of brows that matched her eyes. Her nose was tall while her thin lips were red, very enticing to take a bite.

Trying hard to look away from such a beautiful feature, Lyra leaned over to look more closely in the mirror.

She carefully examined herself, not missing an inch. Wanting to figure out if her face went under the knife.

However, everything was flawless. There are no signs of scars or proof that she went under a face change operation.

Whether she believes it or not, her appearance is real and natural. Even her wavy, shoulder-length hair looked very soft, while the chestnut color also shined brightly under the fluorescent light.

Her looks are unbelievably beautiful. Far more attractive than any other artiste she had seen.

What's more, her skin is fair, white, and delicate. She can barely even see her pores. It was as flawless as jade and looked so soft just like a newborn baby's skin.

Looking at her new self in disbelief, Lyra has a complicated expression.

No woman on earth didn't want to look as beautiful as a fairy.

She looks like a living elf, mixing in the human world. She turned into an alluring woman while still looking pure and had a hint of innocence on her face.

It would feel wonderful being this beautiful. However, her family would no longer be able to recognize her.

This fact made Lyra feel hurt and pained to accept. Especially when they knew she was missing and couldn't eliminate the possibility that she might be dead.
