Allen could hardly see whether the person was a man or a woman.
She heard them saying she will be called Test Subject Zero before the other person seemed to walk forward to the glass container that currently contained her. She could see a hand, stroking the glass container as he whispered those words.
It was from that day onwards that Allen was subjected to inhuman treatment. She was only thirteen years old when she was taken as a test subject for unknown medicines.
In the beginning, she thought that the reason behind her abduction was due to envy of their company's rival, but She was just a child and a mere assistant in training, so it couldn't possibly be.
Was she being sold by those so-called human traffickers? That was possible too! Or could it be because she was a rare seed? A child prodigy that can easily be trained to become a company's asset?
It would have been better if the last possibility was indeed the reason for her abduction. That was something more acceptable for her.
It wasn't until she was first injected with unknown medicine that she realized how naive her initial thoughts were...
From then on, as those people continued to do experiments on her, she tried to gather as much information as possible that may be of some use to her.
Sadly, aside from some weird and seemingly illogical information, she heard about becoming a pure werewolf, she didn't get any other significant details.
Allen was left with no choice, but to cooperate unwillingly. Not that she didn't try to struggle, it's just that every time she did, she was put in such agony that she just wanted to die.
She kept telling herself that as long as she was alive, she could figure out a way to escape. At the same time, she did the best she could to figure out what exactly they were trying to do.
Why her? Why had she been put through all those terrible years?
Lyra Wilson, an intelligent and rare child prodigy who fell into the hands of inhuman people.
They didn't care about her feelings or her future while they continued to ruthlessly experiment on her.
She was treated as a guinea pig. She was nothing but a lab mouse in their eyes.
But vengeance and the desire to live gave her the power to survive. Allen bore with the pain each time they took new drugs to test on her before trying it on other people.
While vague recollections haunted Allen's mind, each of her experiences resembled a thousand needles piercing her mind and heart. Not only physically, but emotionally and mentally causing her pain, making her feel weak with inexplicable grief.
Suffering inexplicable pain in her veins, bones, and body, innumerable tears flowed from the eyes of Allen.
Lyra recalled how hard she tried not to cry because when she did, the tears that came out of her eyes were not crystal clear but red as blood instead.
Yes, she weeps blood-red tears that would slowly fall out of her eyes. She was on her own and had no idea where she was.
How was her family? Did they know that she went missing? Did they even attempt and strive to find her?
As these experiences were replaying in her mind, a warm finger gently wiped her tears from the corner of her right eye.

Alex, who was silently waiting and watching Allen as she kept on drinking the blood from his wrist, gently wiped those blood tears from the corner of her eyes.
He tried to console her using his mellow voice, full of gentleness and love as he caressed her cheek. "Baby, don't be afraid, I'm right here. You're no longer alone."
There was sadness, grief, and sorrow hidden in that gentle voice. Alex felt his heart being squeezed as he could hardly breathe as he watched Allen's unsightly state.
Deeply pained by the image Allen had turned into, the color of his eyes began to change. It was the same as hers, red-like ruby while he kept on staring at her.
What made his heart shake to its core was the fact that he could see Allen's ruby-like eyes slowly turning blank, getting out of focus.
With this kind of look, Allen appeared more like a life-sized doll, incapable of showing any emotions.
He felt very distressed, but he couldn't do anything about it. Deep in his heart, Alex was afraid. He could see the changes in her eyes.
This look was a sign that Allen would lose control. But he won't let that happen.
He won't let her turn into a 'Fallen', a state in which either a Vampire or a werewolf would lose their mind. Violent, uncontrollable, and harmful.
If Allen was just a werewolf, she would turn into a half-human half werewolves form.
This trait had a wolf's head with sharp fangs. From the chest, waist, arms, and thighs would be human-like attributes but with strong muscles covered in thin furs. In place of their hands were wolf's claws and having strong wolf legs and feet.
Whereas if she was a pure vampire, she would turn into a monster who had a deep thirst for blood. Drinking without leaving a drop, incapable of being satisfied no matter how much she might drink.
Allen could turn into both states. She is a hybrid of vampire and Werewolf.
Alex can't imagine her turning into a fallen werewolf who had an uncontrollable thirst for blood.
Unfortunately, Alex could only watch her silently, hoping that his blood would be enough to calm her down.
Not knowing how long it took, he could feel his body slowly getting weak due to excessive loss of blood. But Alex could finally put down his hanging heart that almost came out of his throat.
He could feel the powerful pull of the blood in his veins being drawn out slowly turning slower and slower as compared to the beginning. Until Allen finally stopped drinking his blood.
