Chapter 4

Today is the day I plan to stay outside this palace. The girl who will be acting me is quite sassy. She's the daughter of the Capell ducal family but she doesn't know that I know her true identity since the name she gave us is a fake. Sanya recommended  her but she doesn't know that her loyal costumer is the one and only daughter of the ducal family. an aristocrat. Sanya only knew her as a trust worthy loyal costumer with a status of a noble. a daughter of a baron. I got all this information from Mira.

At first, I was wondering what's the difference between nobles and aristocrats because in my perspective they are just the same. Until Mira explained me that the difference between them is that, the aristocrats wealth and power came from their ancestors. Aristocrats in this world is rare. The Inglid Kingdom has only five aristocrat family and those current head of the house were so useless and damn annoying. they were no help at all in this kingdom. the opposite of their ancestors but I can't say that all of them were useless. The Capell ducal family were one of those aristocrat family. as far as I can remember Duke von Capell and Marquess Brook were a big help to the emperor. Earl Zerhtt has been silent for a decade and the remaining aristocrat, Duke Lezherel and Marquess Vynilla is the vassal of that queen dowager. the annoying aristocrats.

And when it comes to nobles their title came from the emperor for their big contribution in this kingdom. just like Sanya's father. Marquess  Cain a businessman and the one who created the best armour for the knights. He was just a commoner inspired by Baron Fuertalie the first commoner to receive a title from the first emperor of Inglid kingdom. He was also an armour smith and received a title for creating a good armour for the knights when this world is in war between humans to humans and demons to angels and monsters interfering everyone.

Some of the commoner were in arrange marriage whic is normal in this era especially when their family has debt to a noble. they will end up as a lower noble or maybe a higher noble. it's up to the person they have made a contract.

And so, this young girl introduced herself as Rami Damha but her real name is Ramiya von Capell. She's willing to pretend as the princess of this kingdom in return of making her favorite set of dress and an extravagant dresses for this upcoming social gatherings between aristocrats and higher nobles. she is also the first one to boss me around even though she knew that I am the princess of this kingdom. Well, It was normal to act like that since they love discrimination here. She's acting sassy because she knew that I have low mana which is the most important ability of this world.

"Hey, make sure to come back here as much as possible when they found out that I'm not the real princess." I look at Rami.

"Yeah, you don't have to say that because I really plan coming back here once they found out. Just act like what I told you. if they found out your real identity sooner than I expected, that means you're poor at pretending. give your everything in this act. I need to stay longer outside."

"Why the hell do you want to stay outside so much? to have fun?"

"It's none of your business. remember that you're just my double. Never ask anything. always remember the rules I've said." She shut her mouth and rolled her eyes on me.

"Mira, is it ok for me to leave now?"

"Yes milady, but let me ask you one more time."

"What is it?"

"What is all that crystal ball you're holding?" I look at the crystal ball that I'm holding.

"Oh this?" I put the crystal ball that I'm holding near at her. "I made it. it's my disguise." Her eyes sparkled. For a moment Lamira was like an open book. curiosity and amusement is written all over her face. she must be wondering what I look like once I used one of this. The crystal I made has a different colors so that I can differentiate the identity that I'll be using. after I put everything my things inside my treasure box. one of my creations that Lamira wanted to have because no matter how many I put inside my treasure box it wont be full since I made it using my mana. Renericia was right. I really am a powerful person inside this world because I could do anything inhumane. I mean, I can do any magic that in my previous life in earth were just all fantasy.

After I settled everything we started to get out of here by using one of my disguise. I picked the yellow one. My hair color became blonde and my eye color is blue. I also put the cloak that Ramiya were using to come here with Sanya. No one saw Ramiya's face and if ever they saw my face they won't be able to see through me that I am the actual and real princess of this kingdom. 

"Darn, my heart are beating so fast. what we are doing is very dangerous." Sanya said. when I look at her she's wetting bullets.

"Just calm down. take a deep breath and pretend like there's nothing wrong at we are doing. anyways, I'd like to ask something? are you also powerful since you came from the same world where I came?"

"No." I stop walking and look at her in disbelief.

"What? why? you should be one of the powerful human in this world."

"I choose not to. I wanted a simple life. I don't want to get involved in any danger but I ended up being in danger in the end for taking your side but who cares?"

"Wait, wait, wait! How?! how did you choose to not have a powerful mana?"

"Well, I don't know how I ended up here but when I woke up there is a screen in front of me asking me if I wanted to become one of the powerful human in this world or just have enough mana or lower than that. The center of my mana is water and manipulation. I was so scared to wake up in to a place I didn't even know where. On my fifth day here I was wondering and asking different people where the hell I am but they keep repeating the same word until someone approached me and he nag me why the hell I ran away from home. fortunately, that person is Sanyalla's friend and is also her personal body guard but Sanyalla is not me. she's my other self from this world but I can't tell him that because he might think of me a crazy person. I choose to shut my mouth about my real identity. instead of telling him the truth I told him that I lost my memories. I'm planning to survive in this unknown fantasy world and find my way back home but I still don't know how to get home. I stopped planning and instead, I started to make my own dress shop that I didn't expect to boom faster than I have imagined because some of my designs are inspired by a different era. the casual clothes we wear in earth." I see. but I wonder why I didn't have that screen that Sanya was talking about. I should ask Renericia about that next time we meet. "Wait. is that the carriage?"

"Yes."

"We got out without any problem?"

"Yes---" My cloak fell down when a person bump me. my bright blonde hair is clearly showing at everyone's eyes.

"I'm sorry my lady. forgive me for my rudeness! I'm out of my mind that's why I didn't know that you are walking towards me! I'm sorry! I'm sorry!" This person does not belong to any of my servants. she must be one of the queen dowager's pawn.

"Stop please. it's fine." I acted as kind as I can and gave her my most innocent sweet smile. "Next time be careful."

"Yes milady! thank you very much." She bowed and we immediately walk pass to go in the carriage. No one can't stop me now. queen dowager may think that I am planning to get away from the palace which is true but I'll make it un-true in their eyes.

"Sanya."

"Yes?"

"You cannot go with me."

"What?!" She look so surprised. "But you said 'watch and learn' before."

"I'm sorry. I just can't. queen dowager's eyes must be watching you and they must not find out that I'm the real princess. I can't do my plans when eyes is everywhere." Sanya looked very disappointed. "I really am sorry Sanya. Instead of staying beside me while watching over me just watch me from far away. my first step is to becoming a singer."

"huh?"

"A singer." She looked at me like I said something ridiculous. "Come on Sanya. I'm telling the truth. I'm going to sing the songs in our world."

"Are you damn serious?"

"Yes. I am." She look at me for a moment.

"Ok fine. fine. I get it. let see if you'll become a famous singer."

"Ha! watch and learn!" Sanya laugh while shaking her head.

When the carriage stop near the city I got out immediately and run faster as I could because I know that someone is following me. I hide in an isolated place and when I am sure that they don't know where I am hiding I changed my disguise. I choose the orange one. I have orange hair and a deep black eyes. before I go out where I am hiding I peeked slowly to see if there's rat came from the queen dowager but there is none. I was going to say thanks god when someone tap my shoulder.

"Miss." I was alarmed and I got on my guard when I saw a dirty woman. "Miss... tulungan mo kami." (Help us.) She's speaking tagalog!!

"Who the hell are you?" She knotted her eyebrows.

"I ahm... I... I don't... understand what you're saying." And now she's speaking english. ah, shoot. that's right. the language here is different. I heaved a deep breath and I was thinking if I'm going to help her or not. "Please... help. help us!"

"You b***h! finally I found you trash! since you came here I haven't been having a resting day!" A fat ugly guy is walking towards us

"Please, please, please! kung naiintindihan mo man ako para mo ng awa tulungan mo ako!" (If you can understand me please help me)

"Oo na, oo na. tutulungan na kita." (Fine, fine. I'm going to help you.) Her eyes widen at what I said.

"Ikaw..." (You...)

"Before we talked unnecessary we should take care that man first. what is he to you?" For now, I am conversing with her in english.

"He.. he is one of the bad guy we met here. as you can see I'm dirty and I have chain in my ankle and neck. those people made us slave and they're selling us thru auction." I can't believe there's an slave auction in this kingdom.

"Is that so?" We waited the man to get near us.

"You f*****g useless trash! come here!" I pulled this girl behind me. "You! who the f**k are you?! you think you can just took our toy whenever you want?! we own them!"

"Hey bastard, even if you are this girl's father you can't just own her just because you gave her life and your blood is flowing through her veins. she has her own life to live as much as she want but how dare a rat like you owned her with that filthy hands of yours when you can't even clean your f*****g dirty teeth."

"You!" He was about to punch me but I got him first. I punched him in the face that made him bump into the wall since the place we are is very tight. "Y..y-yo..u'll reg...re..t h-helping that b***h!" He ran away while touching his face.

"I'm done helping you. There's something I need to do---"

"Wait! please... help my brother." I look at this girl's face. She must be in her twenties.

"Your requesting a dangerous thing. are you aware of that?" She look down on her feet but I can still see how she bit her lips because she's taller than me.

"I... I'll pay you." I laughed at her.

"How? look at you. anyone can tell that you don't have money. no one will also go near you." I saw how her tears fall down to her face.

"I'll do anything! anything... just to save my brother."

"Really? anything? what if I say that I wanted to make you and your brother my slave?" Her body flinch when I said that but soon after she look at me with her teary eyes and dirty face with bruises.

"We... we will endure everything you'll do to us as long as we are not in those people's hands."

"Why are you so scared? why choose me when you don't even know who I am? how can you be so sure that they're more cruel than me to choose me as your new owner that fast?"

"Inside those auction... the nobles there are monsters. we are their play thing. they'll torture the one they got from bidding tons of money just for their pleasure. there's also an insane person between them that always bidding a higher price just because she caught an interesting part of that person's body." This is too much revelation when I just got out in my palace. what a bad luck. I was hoping that I have back supporters to crush that auction party down but I can't. Even if I break that auction they'll just gonna build another--- wait, wait, wait. that's right! I can just crush it down! if I did that they will be having a problem and it takes time to build it again. while they were building one again I must also build my connections and wealth. shocks, I'm so witty.

"Anyway, what is your name?" Before she answer my question she wiped her tears first and smiled then she spoke.

"My name is Vivian Durana. I'm half Filipino and half american."

"I see, nice meeting you Vivian, I am Dan--- Danee. before we help your brother we have to do something about your appearance first." She look at her self and when she realizes that she look like a real mess. totally mess.

I tried to find place where we can stay and where she can also bath and change her clothes. I already took her chains away but her appearance says that she's really a slave and every single pub we stopped are eyeing her and after that they won't allow us to stay in their tavern until a tavern far from city let us in even knowing that this girl beside me is a slave.

"Enter please. We barely have guest because our tavern is so far from city. only a minimum guest can drink here because we lack people to serve them and we are already old so we can only serve guest with the strength we barely have. Miss, at the back of this tavern is a hot spring you can go there and clean yourself." Said by the owner. She's really old. she must be in her 60's or 70's a senior citizen but I guess they don't know what senior citizen here since their era is different from mine back when I am still alive in earth.

"Are you not gonna kick us?" The woman smiled at my question.

"No. you're a guests and we serve a guest that are in need." I look at her husband and he's busy making drinks.

"Are we only the guest here?"

"No. there's two people staying at the second floor and one person in third floor." I arched my eyebrows and then look around.

"Do you know them?"

"Yes. those people are very well known in this kingdom. The one at the room one hundred nine is the high ranking magician and the person staying at room one hundred one is the scarlet witch and the last the person staying at the top is the personal assistant of the famous music producer that are lately is producing songs appropriate to his singer's voice." She looks happy while introducing them.

"You know them a lot?" I asked.

"Of course! they were only the people we can consider loyal costumer. before, our pub is always full and noisy but now we can barely have guests since a lot of pub and tavern are build near and inside the city. we can only have guests when they have no choice but to stay here for a moment or they want to drink here." I nodded at her.

"Then why don't you open an application for crew?" The woman's face saddened.

"There's no one who wants to apply. we also don't have children to help us." She look at her husband who's still busy at making drinks. "We didn't have a chance to have a child.."

"Actually, I have money but I don't want to spend it like a one time billionaire."

"B-billionaire...?" She ask cluelessly.

"Instead of paying our stay here, how 'bout we work here for a moment while we are staying?" The woman's eyes sparkled.

"Are you serious?!" I nodded. "Darling! there's someone who will help us for a moment!"

"Hmm? there's someone who wants to work here? do they want a large money?"

"No, We don't. we just want stay here for free but we will pay for our foods." The old man stare at me for a minute.

"No, you can eat and stay here for free as long as you can help us here." He maybe old but it seems like he's still sharp.

"I'm sorry but I don't think I will be a good help because I have many things I need to do but Vivian and her brother will be the one helping you out here. maybe the next day after tomorrow? we will fetch Vivian's brother. I'll pay for my stay here but I'll also help here if I have time and that is voluntary so no need to pay me." The old man stare at me again for a minute.

"Fine. as long as you won't bring trouble here."

"I can't say that I won't because trouble is always out there either you have good or bad intensions but I guarantee your safety sir. I swear on my family's name."

"Are youngsters today like you?" I shook my head.

"No sir."

"Guess so." We both laugh for no reason. it's just that. we understand each other just by looking at both's eye. after that the old lady lead us to our room.
