Chapter 5

I'm inside of my room in this inn called VENENUM preparing everything I need to save those slave and crush down that damn slave auction. Vivian is taking a rest nextdoor but her room is for two people while I have a single room. Her brother will be staying with her and we also bought some clothes for Vivian's brother and for herself. So far, she doesn't ask why I know how to speak tagalog. she must be waiting for me to explain everything because she really does treat me as her master. becoming a slave must have a big impact on her. when she changed her clothes she look like a rich kid. her posture, her gestures, her actions and the way she speak but when I am she's facing she's speak and she acts like a lowly weak and beaten slave. it makes me anxious because she's already acting like that when she still doesn't saw my war freak hot headed side attitude. my other personality where my mercy for others is gone and heart is hard as the hardest rock.

Sfx: Knock, knock

"Who's there?" I immediately hide my guns and I put my granades below my pillows.

"Master.." I heaved a deep breath. Vivian calling me master makes me shiver.

"It's open. you can enter." I sat on my bed and waited her to enter my room. "Close the door after you come in." She did what I told her. I heaved a deep breath again. "Look, Vivian. I did say that I wanted you as my servant but I didn't tell you to call me master. why do you keep calling me master when I have my goddamn name?" She looked at her foot and poke her pointer finger at each other. it's cute but not cute at the same time.

"I'm just used to call my master, master." Again, I heaved a deep breath.

"Let's talk again after we get your brother out of that shitty place. take your time to take a rest because we will wake early in the morning tommorow to spy them and ambush once we have a chance especially when they started their damn f*****g auction."

"Ok.."

"And please try calling me by my name because it makes me uncomfortable, you, calling me master."

"Yes, I'll try my best." After she left and closes the door I let my body fall in my bed and closed my eyes.

"I think I need to lay low my savageness for a while. I need to refrain myself because Vivian might call me more than a master. my mission here is to make connections not to make such ruckus. I just hope that I will be able to do it." though, isn't planning to destroy that slave auction is a ruckus? well... I have a lot of costume to hide my identity. also have voice changer so I think, that's not counted haha. they will never know my real identity unless I reveal it or someone close to me betray me.

Sfx: Knock, knock

Again? what does Vivian wants this time? she just came here earlier and I really wanted to take a nap right now, darn.

I went to my door and opened it expecting that the person knocking my door was Vivian but she's not. a handsome man were standing there but he's not my type though.

"Hi miss, nice to meet you."

"Same here." He smiled and then he bend his hand on me.

"You might already know me---"

"No. I don't know who are. just tell me what is your business with me because I really want to take a nap right now but you're disturbing me." His jaw hanged open like he saw a ghost. "Hello sir? are you listening to me? hey? hello?" I keep snapping him but he's stuck. his jaw is still hanged open and his eyes are also wide open. "The heck is wrong with this guy?" I wanted to slap him to wake this guy up that this is his reality or maybe this guy is just dumb? or maybe he's franking me?

"You..." Finally he spoke. "You don't know me?? you... don't know a person someone like me? a very well known person in this kingdom? you say you don't know me?" Why does he keep saying I don't know him? Is that really a big deal? if he is an emperor and I said that I don't know him, then his reaction is understandable but this guy, he is not even a crown prince or one of the prince why does he look so shock and bothered at what I said? Is he an heir of one of those aristocrat? or maybe one of the influencers in this kingdom? a noble? just who the heck is he? is he a VIP? "You really... don't know me?"

"Of course I don't--- oh!" His eyes sparkled when he saw that I realized something. "You were one of the people staying at this floor. The owner told me that the three people staying here is a well known person in this kingdom." He nods exasperated.

"That's right, that's right! do you remember me now?" I shook my head.

"No. just who the hell are you? why do you keep bothering me? I told you I wanted to take a nap."

"Are freakin' serious?"

"Why do you think I am not?" He looked at me like I am one of those country bumpkin. He's intentionally showing me what he thinks of me. what a bastard. "I'm not a country bumpkin, jerk. I just don't know who you are. I don't have time remembering someone's name If it's not that necessary." And now this jerk look at me like there's something wrong with me. just what the f**k?

"The great magician is in front of you young girl." He is over reacting that it makes him look like an i***t. "The name is Zel Ruano!" Is he that famous? so what if he's a great magician? I am a princess s***h an outstanding soldier. I also have immense mana but I prefer using it for creating fantasy like items that is very helpful to me and the people that surrounds me--- a trusted people like Lamira for example. and those items I'm referring is just like my disguise right now. The magic crystal s***h CCTV footage that I gave to Mira and my Treasure box where I put my weapons, my favorite fitted leather attire and some of the things I need for my disguise. I don't plan using my mana as my main weapon to attack a f*****g enemy. I might use it as defense because I have my beloved weapons for killin' but if somehow I ended up in a pinch situation that's where I might use my mana to survive. that's right, my survival is my number one priority. I can't let myself die early in this world when I haven't granted Renericia's request.

I look at this man's face and showed him my half smile.

"Really? nice meeting you sir Zel Ruano. I am Danee, a nobody but this nobody is gonna take her nap so if you'll excuse me." I slammed the door and went back on my bed to take a nap. I really do feel so sleepy.

"Just who the f**k who are calling a stalker? I've always been staying here whenever I want."

"Didn't you stay here because of me?"

"Assuming."

"What did you say jerk?!"

"Nothing. just stop pestering me  will you?"

"Do you want a fight jerk?"

"Sure. I am a powerful magician after all."

"So what? I am more powerful than you. the strongest amongst the witch in witch land, that's me."

"I see. that's why you act like a bitch."

"Bastard!!"

Argh! again! just where can I find peaceful in this world?! why do they keep making noises when I'm asleep?!

"Ahm, e-excuse me... please keep quiet---"

"Huh?"

"Are you a spy?"

"You, what kind of language you're using?"

"Is that even a language? that must be a spell!"

I sat on my bed and heaved a deep breath. I check my face to see if there is a dirt before I went out of my room.

"Making a ruckus outside other's people room. don't you have a shame?" I deliberately say that to these two people. the guy is that Zel Ruano, the magician and this girl that I don't know must be also one of those well known people in this kingdom. "If you're going to fight, do it outside your room. I personally choose this room far from your rooms people so I can't hear a noise but..." I look at them and they are staring at me. "Anyways, argue somewhere. you're disturbing me." I look at Vivian looking at her feet again. "Did you eat already Vivian?" I ask speaking in english. She shook her head as an answer. "Let's eat then. After we help your brother I will teach the both of you how to speak the language here." She look at me with a smile on her face. "Go down and eat. I'll follow you later." She nodded and left immediately and I look at these two one more time. "You should eat too." I was about to open my door when both of them hold my shoulder. "What?"

"Are you a spy?" They ask in sync.

"No, I'm not." I removed their hands out of my shoulder and confronted them. "Just because we spoke another language doesn't mean we are already a spy. you judge people without even knowing them. you don't even have an evidence. just how did people like the two of you became a well known person when you can't even composed yourself? let's say I'm a spy and you acted just like how you did earlier. even if you say that the two of you is powerful enough to bring me down. how are you going to protect the owners of this tavern then? revealing a spies identity is dangerous. that person might me people hiding around this place. you two are so confident to your powers but always remember that you're not immortal. even a witted powerful person can die just a stab from his or her back. Keep those advise in mind." I opened my room's door and picked my pocket and then I went down but I stopped mid way. "Why the hell are you following me guys?" When I look at their direction they look away and pretended that they're not the person I was taking to. I rolled my eyes and let them do what they want.

"Oh, Miss."

"Hi there, Owner."

"Come on, just call me grandma." She smiled at me and then she pointed her finger to her husband. "And call that old man grandpa."

"Well, if that's what you want, why not? just call me Danee then, grandma." I smirked at her and she also smirk at me. really, this couple is interesting.

"Were you all going to eat? We haven't cook yet."

"hmm, how 'bout I'll cook for us, grandma." When she let me do the cooking I went to the kitchen and prepared all the ingredients that I need. thankfully that they have a lot of ingredients. I don't know what their usual or prefer food but I will cook the foods that I really I love cooking back in earth when I am still alive.

It took me hours to cook everything since I did it alone and if they don't like the food I made I can just eat all of this.

I made pork steak, mushroom soup, sweet and sour fish, pork adobo, fresh apple juice, pan fried salmon with creamy garlic souce, salmon teriyaki, chicken francaise and chicken fajita slab pie. I don't love pork so I prefer seafoods, vegetables and chicken. I like beef a little but they don't have beef so yeah. I made most of my favorite foods. I also cook rice for us. Vivian helped me serve the food and I was planning to invite them but I saw how they look at the food I made. Their looks saying that the food I made is very unnatural food which slightly true but it's still a food so what? the way I see in their look is like asking 'How to eat that?' and 'Is that even edible?' Just like I said, if they don't want to eat I'll eat it all. oh, Vivian! I know she's familiar with the foods I made. I look at her and she's staring sharply at the foods. she looks hungry.

"Let's eat." I prepared the dishes for all of us but only me and Vivian who were sitting. I didn't pay much attention and started eating. on my first bite made my eyes close and savor the food. I miss this taste so much. the taste, the texture, and the combination of the dish in rice with the addition of fresh apple juice. I was too focused to my food that I didn't felt them sit beside me and started eating my food.

"What is this? it's so delicious!" Zel said

"It looks unusual but it smell so yummy but it's yummier if you eat it." I still don't know this girl. although I didn't invite Zel and this girl what can I do when they already started eating with us? I just let them eat the foods I made.

"Where did you learn to cook this food Danee? I never tasted this kind of flavor before. are you a traveller from another kingdom?"

"Grandma, I am not a traveller. I just enjoy cooking and I was born here." They look at me like I said something wrong. "What?"

"You really a citizen of Inglid Kingdom?" Zel asked looking suspicious on me.

"Yeah. but my background is not a big deal and I don't like story telling my life to anyone. those dish that you're eating are all of my favorite. I always cook it whenever I have a time so stop asking or I'll kick you out. The ingredients may not be came from me but I am still the one who cook it." They shut their mouths and continued to eat. I look at grandma and gramps and they were looking at me like they knew that I'm hiding something which I confirmed by smirking at them.

"What a scary child." They both mumbled but I think no one were able to hear it except me because they're busy eating their fill.

"Mhmm... I smell something good." I look at the stairs where the voice came and I saw a man with the same age as the emperor. "A new costumer?"

"Our granddaughter..." Gramps said that made that man stop and made Zel and that girl beside him choke in shock.

"How... how did you a have granddaughter when you don't have a single child?" The man asked shockingly.

"Heh. she's our granddaughter in heart, Niel bastard." Grandma sneered at that Niel man.

"Which of them?" He asked again. why does he care so much? he keeps asking it's annoying.

"Who do you think?" Gramps smirked. My intuition is right. this couple may be old but they're not easy to fool. they're not dumb and ignorant. even in that age they're still sharp.

That Niel guy look at Vivian who's busy eating and then he also look at me--- no, his look turn into stare.

"She looks a bit different than the other brats." Grandma and gramps nodded. "But why do I feel like her face are somewhat familiar?" giik! I may have a different color of eyes and hair but my face still look the same. "Maybe I'm just remembering that person. anyway, can I also dig in?" Grandma and gramps look at me.

"Yeah, sure." I said. he look at me and then turn his gaze to gramps.

"Why she's the one answering me?"

"Because Danee made these food." He look at the food and the way he look at the food is the first impression that I received from gramps and the others. "Just eat. pay no attention at the foods appearance." This Niel old man is staring intently at the food but he already gulp multiple times. he must be attracted at the smell of the food. He was still staring until he decided to eat it.

"It's... surprisingly delicious."

"Thanks for praising my cook." He wasn't able to answer me because he keeps eating. I was wondering if he's even swallowing his food. I look at the time and it's already seven fourthy one in the evening.

I have another item similar to my treasure box. It's a ring with a mana stone. It's capable to secure your things inside but it has limitation unlike my treasure box. the reason why my tresure box is limited because it has a lot of mana stone that I embedded my mana within of it. a ring is a small item so it also has a small spacial. I don't have any luggage I brought. I only have my treasure box that can be open only me. I made a ring item where I can put the things I only needed. It's not like I need to put everything my things when I'm just going to wonder and messes with other people right?

Anyway, I put everything I needed for tomorrow's destruction of the slave auction house. I also prepared some for Vivian. I can't have her find her identity since that wimp dirty man saw my face. after tomorrow's event I need to move diligently. I don't have much time before they found out that I am the real princess. I also have many questions to ask for Durana siblings. answers that I don't need to hear from Renericia. meeting her is not that easy and is also limited so I need to think wisely before meeting her.

after we are done eating. I got to know Zel's potential partner's name. Izchia Venura. The daughter of the queen of all witches. She was called the scarlet with for having a red hair and also for having a hot blooded attitude. Zel Ruano is a high ranking magician and the youngest amongst the top magician. He openly told us his rank which is Class S.

The Rank start at lowest to highest. Class F, E, and D is considered lowest rank. Class C, B, A and AA is Medium Rank and Class S, SS and if possible that there's a person born as a prodigy that person may exceed the most powerful in this world. rank of class +SSS. So far, the recorded rank in human history is rank rank S. I still haven't no what my rank is and I don't give a damn so who cares about that? maybe them but I don't.
