The Tenant

Weird...

After having the lunch Hua insisted to drop Chinnu to her villa.She bid goodbye to Fuzhi and to her grandpa who later on left to meet some of his old friends. Aami didn't expect Fuzhi to join them to drop her at home. She was happy to spend some more time with him and also he would know where she lives.

Aami furtively looked at the rear view mirror to grab a glimpse of him but surprisingly found Fuzhi's gaze on her .Aami smiied at Fuzhi while struggling to hide her awkwardness, however Fuzhi looked forward ognoring her and concentrated on his driving maintaining a cold look.

Aami felt something weird in Fuzhi's attitude.She was alert not to look at him anymore.They dropped Aami at the gate of her villa promising her that they will visit her home next time.

She walked to the gate and turned back from the sound of the car horn .She saw Chynna running to her holding the phone which she forgot in the car.Aami smiled and said thanks to Chynna and waved bye to Hua but not dared to look at Fuzhi whose gaze she could still feel that it was on her.

Aami walked to her villa and went to her room.She looked out through the window and saw the car still parked outside the gate and the figure sitting in the driver's seat is on a phone call.

She watched him from the window and observed that his eyes were wandering all over their villa. Finally it stuck at her window and she moved aside afraid of being caught. After few seconds she peeped through the window again and saw his gaze fixated on her window even now .She flinched and moved aside and stood leaning back to the wall with tight shutting her eyes.

Aavni (Aami's sister) : sister ,are you alright...

Aami flinched and opened her eyes ....

Aami(angrily) : What ?

Aavni (giggled ) : it's looks funny sister, are you hiding here .

Aami : What's your problem Aavni,why should I hide .You go from here ...go now

Aavni frowned and went ...

Aami didn't had the courage to peek through the window again so she rushed to her washroom to take a shower to ease her off .

At night when they were having dinner...

Nandini(Aami's mother): Aami , grandpa was saying that you are going to J beach tomorrow..

Aami : yes mother,I was about to tell you..

Nandini : when..After coming back.

Aami : oh Mother ,Iam sorry .I forgot...

Nandini : hmm...Aami come back home early, don't wander unnecessarily.

Aami nodded while gulping her food.

Grandpa : Nandini allow her to have her food peacefully, she is not a kid anymore, she knows to take care of herself. Aami behave yourself when you are with them, they are our Ammu's in-laws.

Aami : I know grandpa,don't worry.

Grandpa: I will leave day after tomorrow...Child do come and visit grandma once in a while.

Aami (sighs): Sure grandpa ,I will...

Aami went to her room and stood before the mirror ,she could still feel the daze she felt seeing Fuzhi unexpectedly. She cupped her face in her palms and smiled not knowing the exact reason. Later she slept peacefully though her day was stressful and full of surprises.

While in a presidential suite of one of the most luxurious hotel...

Fuzhi wandered in the balcony restlessly..he lit a cigarette and throwed it without smoking..he dashed back to the room and took his phone to dial Lin Jun...

Before Li Jun could address him ,Fuzhi charged out on him...

Fuzhi : Jun, Did you enquire about Anamika Varma,what's the status now...

Jun panicked and took him few notable seconds to lie "Boss ,It's still going on,give me two weeks more

Fuzhi : Two weeks ....okay take your time

Fuzhi disconnected the call and laid on the bed ,he twisted to side to side and somehow went to sleep.

Next day..

Aami received call from Hua that they will come at 5 pm to pick her.Aami got ready and bid bye to her mother and siblings. Her mother asked her to ask Hua to visit their home whenever convenient.

Aami waited at the gate,she saw a BMW car heading towards her. Chynna waved at her and Aami waved back smiling. Chynna got down and held her hand

Chynna : Chinnu aunty,we can get in the other car.

Aami : okay....

A black Bentley car stopped before them,Chynna dragged Aami to the car .Aami followed Chynna and sat beside her and was overwhelmed with happiness seeing Fuzhi sitting in the other end of the seat.

Aami looked out to the window striving to hide her smile.She tucked her hair at the back of her ears ,adjusted her dress hems and what not in happiness.

Fuzhi was busy scrolling in his phone and not even for once looked at her...
