Shemika Synn went to her room, and I left for my room too-barely able to walk, but I walked anyway. I couldn't even wash myself up, I was so exhausted, and I feel used to the core. I didn't even bother to change my clothes either, I simply just slip into bed, my limbs heavy with weariness I had barely laid my back on the bed when a slow but deliberate knock on the door caused me to jolt up, pulling me back into tiredness. I hissed and ignored the knocks as though I didn't hear them. I shifted on the bed and pressed the pillow on my head to block my ears from hearing the knock again. But it didn't help, the knock came again, and I could hear it loud and clear, though it wasn't an aggressive knock, it was gentle in fact, but loud enough that a pillow couldn't absorb.
