Noel tossed and turned in her bed. Sebastian had long since given up sleeping beside her through the night as he only took up space she needed and she only kept him awake with her tossing and turning. These nights, as Noel got closer and closer to birth, Sebastian cuddled her to sleep then snuck away to a guest room. She understood he needed the rest, but that did not mean she did not miss waking up beside him.
The Gamma was now merely a month out. At this point although the pack doctor would prefer she kept her pup in full term, if Noel were to give birth early it would not be so early that it would be catastrophic. The realization was quite a relief to the soon-to-be new mother. Noel shimmied herself up to the closest she could get to sitting and let out a heavy sigh.
