It had started snowing as Corey arrived at the coffee shop in Elmswitch. He has been in his truck for nearly 20 minutes yet could not will his body to move. He simply sat in his truck with the heat on watching the dusting of snow melt against the windshield.
It had been eight days since the discovery of the leak in the pack. Corey had made quick work of what needed to be done, refusing to sleep until things were locked down and back in order. With the many threats on going, and both the Alpha and Beta being tied up with the Luna’s seemingly never ending heat- Corey had been very busy. He had hardly seen Anna or Jaxon since returning- eight days ago.
Eight days since the count down to either losing Anna and Jax or the start of a new war began.
