Anna paced around the nursery with Eclair bouncing in her arms. The little babe was fussy every morning and did not seem all that interested in bottle feeding so calming her down when she got herself worked up was no easy feat.
Anna hummed sweetly as she bounced around and around in circles trying to soothe the baby. She had forgotten how much work newborns were, but still, the arrival of Eclair reminded her of the sweetness of Jaxon as a baby. As difficult as his arrival was, it was still one of the most treasured times in her life.
She stiffened slightly as the nursery door started to slowly open. Soon Corey’s scent reached her senses, immediately relaxing her back to her relaxed state.
