Charlie jolted awake. Sitting straight up, flinging the heavy arms of both Jamie and Julien off of her like they weighed nothing. “Baby?” Jamie said through a haze of deep sleep. It was still pitch black outside, nowhere near time to wake up. “EXACTLY JAMIE! BABY!” Charlie yelled as she bolted down the hall to the nursery. With a violent tug that nearly took the door off the hinges Charlie swung open the nursery door and swept through. Turning over pillows and cushions- as if the baby were stashed away like a linen.
