The winter solstice and Christmas came and went with limited but still vibrant celebrations at the packhouse. With all the chaos and Mandy still being in her coma-like state in the hospital, none of the adults really wanted to do much of anything but they pulled it together for the pups.
It was tradition for the packhouse to host a few parties over the course of the holiday weeks leading up to the new year to give everyone a chance to meet with the ranked members of the pack outside of the usual pack business. Charlie and Anna handed out gifts to the pups while Jamie, Julien, and Corey made sure cups were full. They all plastered smiles on their faces and forced their moods high, but the looming threat of Greyson was only days away.
