I rubbed my head for the umpteenth time as I spoke to Alexander. Since Zephyr's arrest, I have been looking for a way to help him. The evidence they found shocked me because I never expected someone to plant them around his office. Either Zephyr did it, or someone betrayed him. Just like he told me when he was leaving, there was no one to trust. Not even Alexander, who I was speaking to on the phone.
“There is little I can do, Sapphire, unless he is proven not guilty.”
