    Mom and dad wasn't too happy about the fact that we were leaving so soon, I'm sure they'd hope for a few more days with their daughter before she was whisked away by a total stranger. I didn't care to protest the situation though because even though I'd miss them both dearly I was ready to be as far away from this town and Axle as I possibly could be. When not only your mate rejects you but the alpha as well then there's not much left for you in a pack. School also wasn't an issue since my grades had already guaranteed me a pass to graduation, which Dominic had promised to bring me back for after I'd been so persistent on the matter. Yes I knew that if I wasn't able to show up they would just mail me my diploma, but I hadn't spent 13 years of my life miserably working my ass off just to not get to walk at graduation.

    We'd now been on the road for almost an hour riding in complete silence. At first I'd welcomed the silence happily, still trying my best to wrap my head around the situation at hand, but now the silence had started to feel awkward and uncomfortable and I was becoming very aware of his presence. "So about your pack... You said it was small right?" I asked looking over at him.

    "Yea, it's not your typical pack. It's mainly made up of people who either left or was removed from another pack" he explained staying focused on the road.

    "Should I be worried? I've never really heard of people being kicked out of packs unless it was for serious reasons" I asked feeling a little regret deep in my stomach, now not knowing exactly what I'd agreed to.

    "No it's nothing like that... well maybe with a few of the members. Most were due to disagreements with the alpha of their previous group. Some left of their own accord due to situations of mating with members of my pack, wanting a fresh start, and even a few come from rejected matings like your self" he explained, casting a look over at me as he sensed my discomfort. "Only a few members are on the more dangerous side, but lucky for the pack and now you they'd kill but also die for all of us."

    "Well hopefully neither of those things will need to happen" I said a little shocked by his explanation. It wasn't uncommon for instances like that to occur in the community, but it was still typically frowned upon. "What if they don't except me?"

    "You don't have to worry about it little wolf, like I said we all are a little f****d up in our own ways. There's no reason for them not too" he stated with a smile that didn't ease my worrying.

    "But that doesn't mean they will accept me as their Luna. An Alpha's strength is built off of their mate once they're finally mated mated, hence why they always mate betas. You seem to forget that I'm not a Beta and that this is not gonna be easily accepted on your side of things" I sighed, slouching in my seat at my on revelation. Heck I don't blame them even I hadn't decided fully how I felt at the moment. It was clear that we we're experiencing at least something similar to a mate bond, but it didn't make any sense how it was happening. We'd both already found our mate even if they weren't around anymore that didn't get rid of that fact. Our statuses also didn't make any sense with it either. It wasn't uncommon because Alphas just rejected their mate if the were an omega, it was uncommon because it's never been heard of happening before. "My mom was right you know... No one's going to believe us even if we go through with the mating. They'll just see me as some desperate little girl you picked up because I was providing you with a good lay."

    He chuckled at my crude way of putting things before responding, "I have no doubt you will provide me with a good lay little wolf, but when I finally mark you, and trust me I will be marking you, they'll have to believe us. I mean if you work off your point of our statuses why else would I decide to make you my mate, since I don't gain anything from it?"

    "First off ow, secondly you do have a point" I agree slightly relieved, "though I never did agree to become your mate. You just busted into the room saying I was yours and then decided to take me home with you."

    "Don't play me for a fool. We both know you feel the same connection and pull that I do, plus I didn't hear any complaints or protests to my statements or me taking you with me till now. I actually remember you agreeing to come of your own accords" he explained with a smirk, the sly bastard sure was full of him self.

    "I agreed to come with you to get as far away from my alpha and Axle as I possibly could" I state, rolling my eyes. 

    "Stop lying to yourself, it will only cause you and us problems in the long run. Also I'm pretty sure it's quite clear that Stanley is not your alpha anymore so do not refer to him as such. I'm your alpha now and I would also appreciate it if you didn't speak that idiotic little pricks name while I'm around" he seemed to growl in response, catching me by surprise.

    "Why do you care? Axle is my mate after all you can't forbid me from talking about him just because you don't like it." I couldn't help but watch his reactions, I was enjoying pressing his buttons. For the first time of the whole car ride I wasn't sitting there bored to death.

    "Cassie it wasn't a request. It was an order" he stated as I watched his jaw grow taught and his hands grip the steering wheel harder.

    "Oh look at you being a big bad Alpha" I laughed "Last I checked though I didn't have to follow your orders."

    "Cassie, I wont warn you again. Watch your tongue before you cause something you may regret" He growled, sounding like a feral animal.

    "Or what? The big bad wolf will punish me? I'm not afraid of you Dom-" I'm cut off mid sentence though as he jerks the car to the side of the road and slams on the breaks. He's put it in park and was out of the car before I could even regain my thoughts. 

    "Get out of the f*****g car right now Cassie or I'll drag you out" he orders as he jerks my door open, trying to hold his composure, causing my heart beat to pick up from a mixture of fear and excitement.

    "Make me." I couldn't help but challenge him as I smirked up at him.

    "You f*****g brat" was all he sad before he reached in and dragged me out off the car like he threatened to do. 

    "What are you gonna do about it" I squealed as his he locked me in place in front of him by the back of my neck

    "Obviously daddy didn't teach you manors and it looks like its gonna have to be my job to do so" He growled as he guided me to the hood of the truck and bent me over it. "Now behave and count for me like a good girl." That was the only warning I got before his hand came into contact with my ass.

    "Dominic" I gasped out, shocked by the fact that his solution was to bend me over his truck and spank me.

    "What did I say? Count them or I'll add more" he growled as his hand switched to the other cheek and dealt yet another sharp smack.

    "One" I whimpered which earned me a chuckle before the next smack, "Two!"  With each hit I stayed obedient calling out each number and becoming a gasping whimpering mess. I couldn't believe how much I was enjoying this, i was getting to the point where I could practically feel the wetness running down my leg.

    "Such a naughty little girl" he leaned down to growl in my earn when he finally stopped his assault, sending chills down my spine  "I can smell your arousal and you smell f*****g delicious. Maybe if you  wouldn't of been so difficult I would of had a taste of you and eased that aching between your thigh."

    "f**k Dominic" I groaned, instinctively rolling my hips back into him, which caused him to press me further into the hood. I couldn't help the moan that left my lips when I felt just how hard he was

    "Do you feel what you do to me little wolf," He growled rolling his hips against my ass to make sure I could feel every inch of him through his jeans, "Keep all this up and I won't be able to hold my self back. I want to be sweet and gentle for our first mating, but I can't promise that will happen if you don't stop pushing me. Hell do you realize how hard it is for me not to just rip these clothes off of you and take you right here on the hood of my truck."

    "Oh god yes" I whined pushing back into him enticing a low growl from his lips.

    "Sorry little wolf. Not right now, at least not like this" he states before moving away, pulling me up with him. "Now get in the truck and keep your mouth shut. We're only about 15 minutes from where we're heading so it wont be too much longer" he ordered as he opened my door and ushered me inside, before circling the front of the truck and climbing in him self. Smirking, he pulled back onto the road as I sat there quietly and on edge from being denied any form of release.
