When JJ and I got home my Grandma was making dinner. I lived with my grandparents and two older brothers. My Grandparents were like our parents since my real parents abandoned us. I still don't know why my real parents would that. I went into the kitchen to help my grandma which I called mom.
"Hola mami como estas" (Hi mommy how are you?)I said
"Muy bien cariño" (Very good darling) my mom said
"Que bueno mami en te puedo ayudad" (That's good mommy what can I help you with) I said
"Puedes poner los platos en la meza por mientras y en unos minutos la cena va estar lista" (You can put the plates on the table for now dinner will be ready in a couple of minutes)said my mom
"Okay mami" (okay mommy)I said
I did as mom told me to do when I was done. I went upstairs to let my older brothers know that was ready. We were all sitting down ready to eat dinner which was lasagna with steamed vegetables. Once my family and I finished praying we ate.
"How school today kids," asked my dad
"Good," my brothers said
"Great I made a new friend her name is Elizabeth and there was a new student today at school his name is Geoffrey," I said
"That's great mi Princesa(princess)" my dad said
I helped my mom clean up the table then I went to bed because I had school tomorrow.
The Next Morning YN, Elizabeth, and Geoffrey were sitting at their group table.
Miss Zavala said, "Good Morning students next week is picture day so make sure you dress your best"
When Miss Zavala said that Elizabeth asked YN and Geoffrey what you guys going to wear for picture day"
Geoffrey said I'm going to wear a nice outfit with a bow tie"
YN said I'm going to wear a white dress and you Eli"
Elizabeth said I'm going to wear a pink dress"
Miss Zavala started her lesson to give the class. Once school was over YN and Geoffrey were waiting to get picked up. Elizabeth had already been picked up by her parents
"Hi, YN do you want to go sit on that bench by the tree while we wait to get picked up?" Geoffrey shyly asked YN
"Okay Geoffrey," said YN
They started talking a little while they waited to get picked up. That's when Geoffrey's brother came to pick him up.
"Hey Geoffrey let's go home," said Rodney but then he realized that YN was sitting next to Geoffrey.
"Well hello, little girl are you Geoffrey's new girlfriend!" Rodney said with a smirk
"Um no Rodney this is YN, "said Geoffrey
YN cheeks were red from what Geoffrey brother had said
"Oh I'm sorry little bro I thought this cute little girl was your girlfriend"
"Anyways nice to meet YN, "said Rodney as he shook her hand
"Nice to meet you Rodney," said with a giggle
That's when YN heard her name being she turned to see that it was her brother Alex. Rodney and Geoffrey also turned around. Rodney looks at Alex and he recognizes him. Alex gets to the bench where YN was sitting down Geoffrey. He gives Rodney a guy hug and a handshake.
"What's up bro"
"What are you doing here," said Alex
YN and Geoffrey didn't know even know what was going on that they gave each other a confused look.
"I came to pick up my little brother"
"What are you doing here?" Rodent asked
"I'm here to pick up my little sister come on YN get your backpack mom is waiting for us at home with lunch." said, Alex
"Whoa this is your little sister," said Rodney
"Yeah, that's right why?" said, Alex
"Well looks like your little sister and my brother are friends," said Rodney
"Are you for real bro YN are you friends with little Geoffrey," Alex asked Yn
"Yes, Alex Geoffrey is my friend," YN said shyly
"That's great now Geoffrey I want you to look out for YN could you please do that for me," Alex asked Geoffrey
"Of Course I will" Said Geoffrey proudly
"Alright then Geoffrey it was nice seeing you again Rodney lets go YN," said Alex
"Bye Geoffrey," said YN
"Bye YN," said Geoffrey giving her a kiss on the cheek
YN was blushing when Geoffrey gave a kiss on the cheek.
"See you later bro, "Rodney said giving Alex a guy hug
Alex and YN got in the car when they were about to leave he asked Rodney if they need a ride.
"Yeah we do I would really appreciate it," Rodney said
Rodney sat in the passenger's side and Geoffrey sat in the back seat with YN. He was giving the directions to Alex on where he and Geoffrey lived. Once they reached their destination Rodney and Geoffrey thanked Alex for the ride. Alex and YN were also getting out of the car. Rodney opened the door to his home. He asked Alex and YN if they would like to come into his home.
"No thanks bro you guys live here," said Alex
"Yeah we just moved in why?" said Rodney
"Well looks like we are neighbors cause we live right next door"
"We can also go to school together and drop off YN and Geoffrey at school," said Alex
"That sounds like a great idea to me bro," said Rodney
