Jasmine's POV: Lawrence's guttural howls continued without end. Jack scrambled to direct the wolves in a frantic rescue attempt. The scene was utter chaos. No one paid any attention to my "body" lying on the ground. The tide came in. Waves rolled onto the shore. The healer quietly pushed me into the rising water. No one noticed. No one cared.
